    BitCoin falling like a Dotcom

Yes, how will the dollar ever compete with a "currency" that takes an average of *76* minutes to facilitate transactions. In this fictional world where the dollar collapses and bitcoin reigns supreme, not only will we be all standing in bread lines, but we will also then have the awesome opportunity to wait upwards of 1 hour for our loaf-of-bread transactions to be processed. A truly modern approach to financial calamity and social demise.

Save us, Elias, you're our only hope - The 2019 Orioles

Rutschman signed today. Also they signed the HS SS kid they took at 2:1. Minor leagues look a little bit better today. I'm assuming we'll have the 1:1 next year, too.

The post interview waiting period is maddening. Granted, I work in the public sector where the process is exceedingly long...but I never know the appropriate time to reach out and inquire if a decision has been made. Especially when you don't always get a "thank you, but no" letter from the hiring person.
  7. Want to know who actually crosses over with the Maga Klan group? People who feel the need to incessantly and brainlessly defend the party at all costs .
  8. A lot of us get it. Nobody who wants to keep the name is doing it because they want to be racist. Said it before. If they ever drop the name. I'd rather there be no new nickname. Just Washington. The Washington Football Club. I mean, I guess Warriors is ok. But I'd rather just have their number on their helmet and the same colors.

Would have been awesome if the Ben Hur Automobile Company had made it. I'm visualizing the TV commercials already. P.S. @techboy let go of your Freedom Blanket which may have been first, but the Slanket was a clearly superior product to the PoS Snuggie. Further evidence that doing due diligence by reading the white paper for each crypto project won't help much in choosing winners. And P.P.S. it would not be that surprising if the biggest winners in the crypto/blockchain world turn out to be Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, JP Morgan, etc.
  10. Theres that Bernie Bros/Maga Klan crossover happening again. It’s as consistent as the tides, really.

Not really. I’ve been the co-owner of a car dealership for 10 years and I never publicly talk about my “ownership” or allow people to brand me as such. Nor do I ever refer to my crew as “employees”...it’s always “coworkers” or “associates”. Furthermore, to assert that the term “owner” and, by extension, “owned” is innocuous is laughable. It carries a lot a weight in the terms of a business arrangement. Any business owner can and should echo my position.
  12. I don’t like the idea of fleeing the state to avoid a vote. And if theres a fine for doing it, I take issue with the idea that it’s technically allowed. 500$/day fine doesn’t sound like “allowed” to me. I don’t like this notion that if you can’t get your way you can halt everything. It feels petty and childish. For example, I don’t view this as “blocking a vote” this comes across to me as “preventing the state legislature from doing its job” i dont know maybe I’m twisting myself into a pretzel here. I feel like blocking a vote by being in the chambers and using allowed tactics in the chambers is way different than fleeing the state and not showing up so the rest of the legislature cannot do their job.
  13. It does, it's supposed to be a holiday for all of us, not just some of us. There's a reason we don't politicize the 4th, I mean it went so well the last time https://www.history.com/news/richard-nixon-honor-america-day-july-4-1970
  14. Im temporarily in that zone too. I’m incredibly angry at the organization. I don’t even know who we drafted. Well see how that changes when the season starts.

Have you ever smoked Weed before???

Guilty, and I dont roll like that anymore. One time in early 20s I was so high I missed my exit on the interstate not just once but twice. I told myself I wouldnt drive drunk, and really the correct phrase was and is i should never drive inebriated, regardless of the cause.

True. Can’t stand Clay Travis and really, even if you stripped away the race baiting, he’d still be an unbearable douche. That said, it’s funny that someone who argued the word owner needed to go, would then include it in their own bio.
  18. I just heard that the Eagles are practically closing training camp down to fans. They are only having one session open and that one fans have to pay to attend. The Redskins, conversely, will have thirteen free sessions open to fans... for now. The question of this thread is simple: Would you pay to go to training camp? I wouldn't. They would have to offer me incredible access or bells and whistles to make it worth my time. I've been to training camp twice (once as a fan and another time as a reporter for NPR) and both times were quite fun, but they were also really hot and crowded in such a way that your sight lines weren't always great. Moreover, about a third to half of the time was wasted watching the athletes stretch or stand around doing nothing. So, to me it is not a "pay for" experience. Is it for you? If not, what would they need to offer to make it worth your while?

Sometimes pressing buttons and turning nobs feels like just that, so I jus completely flipped a table in my life and sailing into uncharted waters. I dont know about yall, but sometimes the unknown feels more comforting then the known.

New development: Trent Williams wants to be traded/released

True. Not sure that **** should necessarily stick forever though. To discount Scherff having any kind of future at tackle could be harsh based on his initial reps in the pro game.

B Mitch Challenge - Promote The Skins!

If the team was interested in this type of thing, building excitement and hype in June within a shrinking fanbase, they'd have been smart to volunteer for Hard Knocks.

Welcome to the Redskins Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

You probably won't find a bigger fan here of both Harmon and McLaurin. I touted them both on the draft thread before we even took them. Having said that I am not counting on either for being a #1 type receiver especially in year 1. It's tough for receivers to make their mark right away. My gut is both might end up solid #2 receivers over time. I doubt either one develops into a #1 type. Having said that, having a solid #2 type receiver would be an improvement to what we have IMO. I think our veteran receivers are all really #3 types. As for the Redskins running backs, I agree we got good ones. Hopefully the O line can stay healthy enough though to block for them. The article though wasn't about giving a balanced view of the team. The article was about giving 10 reasons why the Redskins could stink this year. He's doing the same rap on every team in the NFC East.

Welcome to the Redskins Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

Sure, he knocked Bruce even harder I recall last year. I just listened to him talk about the article on 106.7, and he didn't comes off like he thought any of it was hyperbole on his end. In other words, he meant every word or so he came off to me. He joked that Redskins fans give him the least pushback among the NFC East fans and accept his criticism for the most part -- saying we are all good sports.
  25. You start off your post as if things are so obvious only a moron would not understand and then you went full QAnon on us. Your theory could be right but saying that the team lied to the player just so he would stay on the field is quite an accusation without any facts to back it up. If that did happen he will most certainly never play here again and I would expect to see a grievance filed and we will probably lose a draft pick or suffer some sort of consequences as a team. You could probably even make an argument for criminal charges to be filed against the team for the cover-up. That would be a scandal of epic proportions, maybe we should wait for some facts before we get too crazy.
