Reuben Foster carted off on 2nd snap of OTA's

Did he ever see a specialist ? Does it seem like in this business, that he would have seen one quicker than this ? Maybe he already has, and they just chose not to make a public statement at this point ?

Toronto has no punchers chance Steve. Curry > Lowry KD=> KL Klay > ??? Green > Siakim Iggy> whoever their 6th man is etc. Me too.
  4. I remember reading something about him working with a guy for months now, to address this issue. Hopefully, he comes into his rookie season surprising people.

Canadian Kawhi is about as good as anyone could have hoped. Maybe even better. I hope he stays this summer

    Alex Smith Actual Status

No i know that, wasn’t being a “smart ***” about anything, didn’t mean for it to sound like that. I was trying to say it was smart of them to only picture him from the thighs up, as to not have the cast pictured or anything. It focuses the talk onto his recovery instead of all about the cast. That “smart ***” comment was not appreciated. Thanks though for the insult..... whatever.

This is the first time most of them have been on a team that's any good. First time playing big games. It shows. Breakdowns of composure. A lack of patience. Dumb situational basketball. Middleton is a bad shot maker so when he's not on, his game is ugly. Gasol and Hill are their only seasoned guys on the roster. They could really use Gasol right now. Toronto has been good for a few years, to the point where even their shakier young guys like Powell and VanVleet and Siakim have a solid amount of experience. Lowry is much better now that he's playing a drastically reduced role, and he's been around long enough that the lightbulb should have finally turned on. Kawhi is the league's best big game stud after LeBron and Durant, and guys like Gasol and Ibaka and Green have as much postseason experience as any regular rotation role players you can find. I really enjoy this Milwaukee team, and I think they have an extremely bright future, but I hope Toronto wins this series. Milwaukee will get swept by the Warriors if they win. It's an awful match up. Toronto will get a game or two and they at least have a puncher's chance.

  10. Couldn't have said it better. Not only do kids not get sheltered from the idea of marriage until they're old enough to understand it, in some cases it even gets idealized before they're old enough to understand it. 2019 homophobia at its finest.
  11. I agree....he's good but not 15M good. However, the market increases every year and I would much rather pay him than go on another 10 year quest trying to find a decent guard.

  13. Yep. He’s a nice player and seems even moreso important because our roster sucked, but I haven’t been super impressed “yet” with him.

    TOR defense was ferocious.

Raptors shot 36.9% from the field, on the road, and won. Mostly because they got to the line 31 times and hit 12 more free throws than the Bucks. Bucks offense was bad tonight and they lost their composure on defense.
  17. Cue the Rocky Theme Music. [EDIT : Sorry, didn't know this was just posted in another Alex Smith Recovery Thread. In fact, didn't even know we had multiple Alex Smith Recovery Threads]

Lets be real though, not like he would've done anything in DC except break his back slipping in a patch of ice. This is the Land of Tears.... and that weird mythical hockey team thats consistently pretty good but... well, its hockey, and as such, shouldnt really be counted at all.
  19. People are going to view Givens through the prism of him being stuck on a train wreck and that he has filthy stuff.
  20. I'm in the "meh about Scherff" camp. He is a nice player and I want him to be here. But it would not upset me if we let him walk instead of making him the highest paid guard in the league. Also, it's possible I have no idea what I'm talking about. He just doesn't pass the eye test for me as the best guard in the league.
  21. Here’s his 2017 draft profile: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/adam-bisnowaty?id=2557834
  22. I ...... don't think I'd agree with saying that. Yes, he absolutely is obstructing justice. On a daily basis. But I would argue that this particular thing of his is more a case of constitutionally protected political negotiating.
  23. That’s Frank Caliendo I believe. Still funny, but the guy I’m talking about is a Redskins reporter. You can see him do Jay Gruden’s voice from time to time on Redskins 100. Pete Hailey, he’s a young kid out of University of Maryland.
