  2. Once again, I feel that Trump is given too much credit for his "slipperyness". Trump has the strategy of a four year old, just keep lying and deny no matter what. It reminds me of those videos parents post of their kids with chocolate all over their faces and ask them if they ate the chocolate. The kid always says no, we all laugh and think its cute. Its not cute or funny with Trump, the GOP are bad parents.

Trump may refuse to leave office. At noon on Jan. 20, 2021 or 2025; the new president takes the oath. Trump can't stop that. The new president will then give the order to forcibly remove Trump from the White House.

I can't figure out what I'm missing with Pittman. Why isn't he being touted as a potential top 40-50 pick? Drafttek has him at 217 on their board and he's not on CBS's board at all right now. I thought he was pretty much a known quantity heading into the season. You'd have to imagine he caught some eyes and will be properly ranked after tonight right? But if not, a guy like him as a potential late day 3 pick? That is insane value. He would be a perfect fit here.

There was no erosion. They lost a conference chamionship and a playoff game before they tanked in for Manning a year later. They had six playoff games, one championship, and 2 SB's with a win before they tanked for Luck a year later. All in a row. Irsay was obvious and the fans complied knowing who the QB's would be in the first pick.

@volsmet your boy Tyler Vaughns got in on the party tonight, but Michael Pittman Jr was insane. He was just ****ing running by guys, jumping over them, and plucking the ball out of the air. It was spectacular. That is a high powered receiver core that is quietly one of the best in the country. USC is also down to their third string QB and he's good. The second stringer looked flat out special. And Daniels was a proven quality starter and winner. They don't seem to appreciate Clay Helton much, but that man absolutely knows how to coach and recruit the quarterback position. Would love to have him at Virginia Tech or Georgia Tech...

They failed because the moron owner fired the coach and Polian at the same time. 3 years after they went to the Super bowl. Yet our GM and coach seem immortal because our owner hasn't won anything in over 20 years after exclaiming how he's going to get the Redskins back to the Super Bowl soon. Dan Snyder is an owner in shellshock due to his own ineptitude.

  12. Right, 2 firsts for Trent isn't enough because LALALALALA let's pretend that nothing is going on. TW is easily worth what Tunsil got and I'm sure that the Redskins were offered similar first.

To be fair, Indy didn't tank. The roster used to be quite good, but had slowly eroded away over time. And yet, Peyton Manning was so good he covered up most of it. Until he got hurt and the wheels came off. But Colts actually wanted to be good, just failed at it. The biggest problem was, once they got Luck, they still largely failed at building a roster. At least until very recently.

Yet 18 years ago, in his 3rd year of ownership, Dan fired Marty Schottenheimer after 1 year, who made running the ball religiously work with nobody at QB, because Dan couldn't have his comittee front office with Dan himself being the tie breaker. Gotta love the ironic results. 20 years of ****, Dan hiding behind garbage "team presidents" until he dies, he'll never win anything. Gruden beating his head against the wall for 5 years with Bumbling Bruce sitting there beside Dan, neither doing anything, while the home crowd turns green, blue, or silver, depending on the opponent, is quite telling. The "greatest Redskins fan" is only here to make money. Gruden hasn't done anything right for 5 years? Well Bruce hasn't for 10 and he's still here so...

There are 32 teams in the NFL. Through two games, we're 30th in rush attempts. That isn't an anomaly. Tell me how it's a false narrative that Gruden doesn't run frequently enough? He's dialed up 10 rushes for AP through 2 games (wasn't even active for the opener). At one point during the game last week, didn't Sims have more carries than AP? In the opener, his prized back was called upon for 10 carries. Injury? Yes, but if you foolishly go into the opening game, on the road, against a division rival, and trust your running game (whatever it might be) to a guy coming off serious injury? That's as irresponsible as not dialing up enough runs or the proper situational play-calls that utilize the run.

  19. Where's they guy with the AR-15 when you need him? Anti-Vaxxers March on ‘Nazifornia’ Capitol, Chanting ‘No Segregation’ and ‘We Shall Overcome’ Over the past two weeks, protesters have flooded the California state capitol to oppose a bill that restricts the medical exemptions parents have been using to avoid vaccinating their children. The outcry comes four years after state lawmakers eliminated personal-belief and religious exemptions for public-school attendees, which were the most common workarounds used to get kids enrolled without having them vaccinated. The anti-vax movement has been ridiculed widely. Critics lambast its adherents for willfully exposing other people’s children to preventable diseases — like the measles — often based on dubious medical beliefs, like that vaccines cause autism. But amid their subsequent claims to victimhood and oppression, anti-vaxxers had largely avoided marching in major cities singing “We Shall Overcome” and chanting, “No segregation, no discrimination, education for all!” while carrying signs that read, “Welcome to Nazifornia.” Until now. “This is misappropriation of a movement [the civil-rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s] that really is not over and proves to be challenging to overcome,” Assemblywoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a Los Angeles Democrat and member of the California Legislative Black Caucus, told Politico of the mostly white women protesters’ antics in Sacramento this week. “The whole conversation around vaccinations is actually one about privilege and opportunity. It’s a personal choice. It’s a luxury to be able to have a conversation about medical exemptions and about whether or not you think your child should be vaccinated.” Increased skepticism about vaccines — and fear of their alleged side effects — has since 2001 helped quadruple the percentage of American children under 2 years old who haven’t had any, according to the Washington Post. Research shows that in California, personal-belief exemptions were claimed overwhelmingly by well-off white people before being outlawed. Click on the link for the full article

Is this the best Defensive Front we've had in years?

I do agree that hes probably not in decline yet, but I think its been clear hes been at minimum a great OLB. He gets so underrated in my opinion, because he does it year in and year out. What most people seem to forget is that Kerrigan is 5th among current players in sacks. Thats impressive. The only players with more are Suggs, Cameron Wake, Von Miller, and JJ Watt. Thats it.

    The Bruce Allen/GM Thread

Id love to believe we have a top tier future GM in the fold right here, but to be honest, I suspect much of the hype over Smith is purely internal and based around the fact that hes not as crap as the rest of the people hes surrounded by. He was a man chosen by a man who doesnt know how to choose, which is one red flag. Once one of Smiths drafts actually pan out rather than just on paper, maybe the rest of the league will take notice.
  24. I'm convinced now that we will play the Brewers, in Milwaukee. Cubs aren't great right now and still have a ton of games left against a much better STL team.. Brewers are the hottest team out right now. Right at the right time. Don't see them slipping up
