I got that a couple years ago with no background in was hard as **** and I basically spent an entire week doing a 1000 question quiz over and over and over again. I barely passed. The test has changed since I took it, so I'm not sure anything I did would be helpful

I second this. Her upper lip/jaw/chin thing is unsettling. She has an amazing personality and is hilarious though.
  4. Sounds good to me. Protection is key. Had we taken Murray, yeah bye bye Trent and no worries. But we probably drafted the QB that needs Trent the most. My desire to see Haskins aside, we just need a left tackle, dammit. Trotting Flowers out there wasn't funny. Sweat oozing confidence probably feels like he is going to get 20 sacks this year. It was kind of telling to see we put in a waiver claim on a tackle. Of course we whiffed. Bruce was forced into showing his lame duck 2 7 off suit hand. He hasn't been dealt a better hand since. Our season could get ugly early, and it will be the exact opposite best time to try the new QB. I keep saying there are many factors above Haskins weaknesses in play here. Jay's uncertain future, Jay in win now mode coaching for his next contract, Trent's uncertainty, KOC's play calling, which I think will be run run pass, run run pass, PAP deep FTW... If our OL falls apart again this year, that is not good for Dwayne. At all. Haskins just needs a good safe consistent environment which will minimize his weaknesses tremendously.

  6. A month ago it seemed most thought DH would be the week one starter, certainly that was the case on the ES. I don’t think DH can beat out Case by week 1, but, as you alluded to, if DH is the one option that can threaten the deep part of the field, he becomes the option that creates more room for everyone on the offense. Of course, he’d have to prove he can do it, but it only takes a couple big throws, without egregious mistakes, to produce more value than 10 dump offs followed by punts.
  7. I don’t think that’s true. Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, etc...
  8. I’m not writing him off, the OTA’s were exactly what they were always going to be, those strengths & weaknesses are all over his film. All I want now is to see him protected so he had a legitimate opportunity to grow.
  9. Thanks for sharing that. I heard the tail end of the interview, but had no idea who they were speaking to. It is easy to predict Case would look better early. I wonder, what does QB grooming in week 1 typically entail. Let Haskins throw naturally and get a solid feel for his current game, or start immediately correcting mechanics, or maybe just mention the big things that need work, and let him focus on learning plays and terminology.... all of the above? Depending on what Haskins was asked to do in OTAs heavily influences the spread we see between he and Case. Case should be able to stave off Haskins early on based on vet prowess alone; avoiding risky throws aka INTs, doing what the coach asks, but the kid has to play and its just a matter of when. If Jay waits until Haskins has mastered his footwork and Jay's playbook, Jay will likely be long gone. If the team does well early in the year, maybe Jay gets a mid season extension which I think provides a MUCH better development path for Dwayne. I want to avoid the playbook and coaching turnstile. I think a consistent learning environment for a new CUBE is as important as the famous start week 1 vs. sit a year argument.
  10. You can get fully cooked rotiserie chickens at any grocery store for $5 and that is more than enough to feed a family of like 2, 3, possibly 4 people. Then get a can of beans or some veggies you can heat up in like 3 minutes on a stove top. That is far cheaper than getting fast food or something for a family of the equivalent. "Not having time to cook" is nothing but an excuse. I cook pork a few times during the week and it takes 3-4 minutes to cook on a skillet. And if you don't even want to bother with that, you can bake chicken in an oven. Sure it takes like an hour to actually cook, but it's effortless. You just put it in a casserole dish with some seasoning on it and let it cook, turning it once. It just boils down to people are inherently lazy as ****. I see it every day. Hell even at the gym I see lazy asses who can't be bothered to put their weights back. We're just a society of lazy fat ****s. I find it amusing that you see all these fat people worrying about dressing fancy and spending money on fancy clothes, but the one thing they have the most control over with their looks is their weight, which in turn is also their health, and yet they completely want to ignore it.

I was just surprised watching the game how few tackles with cleats up werr called on Spain. Yes, the penalty kick was called, but I thought there were a half dozen more that went uncalled which would get cards in a game where the ref had control. I was impressed by the cool of our women and their lack of retaliation penalties. My college and after college teams would probably have let the game get out of control.

  14. Moses got moved in the day J.J. Watt was coming to town for our week of practices. Long got moved out & it was soon clear that Morgan had developed significantly & was a far better tackle than Scherff & it was equally clear that Scherff was a far better guard than Long. We intended to draft our RT at 5, but Kerrigan made a joke of him & we didn’t want him taking on J.J. Watt ...enough had been seen to know he couldn’t handle RT. He took all of his snaps at RT initially, it was brutal.
  15. Congrats Brooks!! Enjoy it ol timer!
  16. It’s a point that gets conflated a bit, the issue is ready made food is largely unhealthy. If you are exhausted or don’t have the time to cook, you have few healthy options. If you are on a budget, the cheapest foods you can pick up, that are prepared for you, are unhealthy. A large problem is food advertisements are often directed at children. Every human has a basic desire to feel needed, parents... particularly single parents, give in to their children more than they’d like because the only way they recognize that their efforts bring any joy is when their kids jump up and down for McDonald’s/etc. When that bit of validation is the only thing in your life that can elicit that positive chemical reaction in the brain, you’re typically going to succumb to it & tell yourself that you’ll be tougher tomorrow. The difference between children & adults is not particularly substantial. Animals in outer space aren’t particularly complex.

Jessica and Trish are sisters on the show, that's why they put up with each other. I finished the the third season, it was actually better than the second season, but not by much. I think I can see why the actress who portrays JJ wasn't going to continue even if Netflix was still doing Marvel shows. The writers remind me of the writers for Supergirl, they don't have any clue how to write for the main character, and without being able to use strong storylines from the comics to use(for both characters, not being able to cast the right supporting characters prevents the better storylines from being used), they elevate the supporting characters that no one gives a crap about.
