Jump King I briefly talked about this one, its a very simple 8 bit game, a game I would never buy a few months ago. The premise is simple, get to the top of the level, but it’s hard. Its a rage inducing game, you hold down the “A” button and the longer you hold it down, the more you jump. Once you jump, you’re locked in (think old school Castlevania). You miss, you’re falling down, way down, losing an hour of progress in a few seconds. Sounds terrible, but if you know what the game is going in, its almost like you’re in on the joke. RAD Once again, not the kind of game I would ever normally get down on, but I’ve been in a rut lately. This is a top down, isometric, roguelike dungeon crawler. Nothing too special, but it has great music and a very “90’s” vibe to it. You level up and gain random mutations (things like growing a turret head, a head you can throw like a grenade and it grows back, wings, immunity to acid, etc). Really simple, yet really fun game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and has great 90’s music. Bit Dungeon Plus Hate it! ****ing hate this game! Its similar to the first Zelda, but only if its the dungeons. Another dungeon crawling roguelike, but I ****ing hate this game. Its just a boring game that explains almost nothing, is unfair, not fun and almost feels incomplete or broken. I’ve played better games on Newgrounds over 20 years ago. Genesis Alpha One This one is a FPS, roguelike, base building, survival game. You play as a clone whose mission is to expand human colonization of outer space. Your “home” is a space station that you build with acquired resources and the stations you build will give your perks on your mission (tractor beam collects debris, greenhouse makes food, armory makes weapons, etc). You will also have to protect your station from alien attacks and go down to a planet’s surface to collect resources and stave off hordes of aliens. Weird game, not many bells and whistles, low budget but interesting game. Haven’t played much, but seems easy to learn, hard to master. The Eternal Cylinder I have no idea what the **** I'm playing, seriously, I have no idea what the hell is going on here. I was sold on this game being an “open world/Spore/survival/action game…I’m stuck and it only ten minutes into the ****ing game. I really have no idea what to do and I don’t like using guides, I definitely feel like I shouldn’t need a guide in the first 15 minutes of the game. That being said, the look and music of this game is amazing, once I figure this game out, we might have a gem on our hands.

I don’t see that as an issue. AZ traded from 3 to 12 last year, then right back up to 6. Giants at #6 is the cleanest route through, I agree.

I know what you mean. ESPN likes to sell themselves as having the professionalism and prestige of a traditional news media even though they have a massive conflict of interest in their reporting because they are broadcasters. They absolutely have a huge SEC bias, and I'm sure that promoting the conference has nothing to do with wooing them and finally getting them to leave CBS for ESPN. It's going to get worse when CFB realignment coalesces D1 into a two league system where ESPN controls the TV rights to one of them (SEC-ACC), and CBS, NBC, FOX control the rights to the other (B1G-BIG 12).

They and the Giants have been all over all three QBs including this week. I am guessing those teams will be trying like mad to trade up on draft day. Sheehan speculated that both this team and NE met with Penix this week on the off chance they get an insane offer they can't refuse and if so how good is Penix as the backup plan. But who knows? The downside to that for some teams is it likely takes you out of the Harrison, Nabers, Odunze game. For the Giants #6 pick they are still in play.

Here just the other day Kiper who prefers Daniels says Daniels has "the slightest of edges". Kiper is high on Maye. Definitiely not one of those Simms anti-Maye types.

I agree with the spirit of the point, not the hit on McConkey but Pearsall to me is close. McConkey is the better YAC guy but Pearsall is a similar player aside from that. Both excellent IMO. Agree. I mention him on an off. As to the slot-combined Z types. he's in that next tier to me, maybe tops after McConkey, Pearsall, Wilson. Also in that tier IMO is @Koolblue13's guy Malik Washington. Thrash might be a better slot in the NFL even though he was an outside WR in the NFL, he's really good too. I love that 2nd tier and even third tier at slot this year.

Brissett and Zappe can get you through a year but it's not what a new regime really wants to build around. I could see them think they'd rather add draft capital and still draft a Penix or Nix if they like them enough. They would not need to start this year especially early on.

I listen to just about every Kiper podcast, watch and consume sometimes hours every day just draft talk-gossip. I saw the segment the other day with ESPN posted here, he didn't seem angry. Is there a new one? It's odd for him to snap on that subject considering he's high on Maye. But agree if all of a sudden he gets angry on the subject that's a weird turn for him because I've seen him say before as recent as this week a variation of its different strokes for different folks at QB. But at least previously before Kiper I guess very uncharastically snapped? I never got the sense that these guys are angry about it should be Daniels with some exceptions like Chris Simms who comes off like a clown on the subject as I've mentioned. There are some who track who goes to whom in mocks, aggregate all the data, and Maye is still a more popular choice at #2 to this team than Daneils but its close. And iits definitely more than just ESPN guys that prefer Daniels. And some ESPN guys like Jason Reid prefer Maye and gals like Mia Kimes. In the ESPN article the other day they had an agent pick Maye at #2 to this team. Just like the Athletic are not all into Maye. Randy Mueller works for the Athletic and blasted Maye even worse than Chris Simms. It was the Athletic that posted an article during the combine that surveying front office people more like Daniels so they think Washington might take Daniels. Field Yates from ESPN who maybe is the biggest Daniels fanboy and has been that way pretty early is really high on Maye too and likes to say whomever gets Maye isn't getting a consolation prize, because he's good too. I don't find any of these guys saying they know who Washington will take. The closest to being that definitive with Peter Schrager and even he couched it and said he's close with Kingsbury but Kingsbury hasn't told him a word.
