LSU is a much bigger program than UNC, which isn't even predominantly a football school. I don't think it's so surprising

IMO it's more about the leadership style and what Washington is looking for. It's pretty well established that Daniels is an introvert, kinda shy, and more of a "lead by example" guy and that Maye is much more extroverted and more of a vocal leader. From what we've seen so far from GMAP and DQ, then seem to tend to prefer the latter sort of leader. The whole "Maye needs to sit" thing is so overblown. Rookies with worse footwork and more inconsistent accuracy have started and been fine. As far as Allen, yes Maye does remind me of Allen a bit more than Herbert because Maye, like Allen, is super aggressive and will push the ball down the field at the drop of a hat. But Maye is also less flawed than Allen coming out. Allen had even worse footwork and accuracy issues (otherwise he would have easily been a top 3 pick if not 1st overall). So I'd say he's a bit more of a refined Allen, but without quite the ludicrous physical gifts of Allen. Still very gifted, but not not on his level (Allen probably has the single strongest arm in the NFL and is also at least 10 lbs heavier and a little taller than Maye).

Allen was garbage at first, worse than Howell last year easily but I think he got better towards the end of the year instead of worse. With the way Howell started if he had improved this team wouldn't be in position to draft a top4 QB. What would suck is if all of these guys are busts but Howell turns out to be a winner. That would be so Redskins.

We don't know who he's talking to. The only thing we know is that pretty much all teams are keeping their traps shut for the most part. I'm not saying he's lying or talking to completely unreliable people, but usually the only people talking to reporters about QBs at this point in the process are either scouts for teams who aren't actually looking for a QB in the draft or who probably won't be in a place to pick one of the top ones. That or if it IS a scout or FO person for a team in a spot to land one of the top QBs, it's likely not a top level scout or decision maker.

I’d be thrilled with it! Just remember that Allen was hardly great his rookie year and Maye is going to need that type of patience. Will be well worth it though

I think most here would be fine with that, as Josh Allen is better than Justin Herbert. We aren’t a playoff team this year either way. People will just want to see growth and big flashes.

I love Drake Maye and if we have the patience we’re in a golden position. But he’s more Josh Allen than Justin Herbert. Do you remember watching Josh Allen as a rookie? I do. My preference is Daniels. But I’d be stoked with Maye, just if we ease him in a bit and I’d prefer Mariotta start if we can afford it. Maye has higher upside agreed but I hope everyone hangs in here during the lumps because watching the bills Josh’s rookie year was atrocious. It wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies out the gate I can assure you that. Ooooof.

I finished Fallout tonight and thought it was awesome. I am not a fan of the games and don't like anything Bethesda makes. I am just not into those kind of first person action RPG games at all. So I don't know anything about the game world or anything like that. But I thought the show was great and can't wait for season 2. The way it ended just made me want to watch more and they definitely left a great story to be told in the next season. They also left some things unanswered which is fine too so they can give answers in the next season, unless I missed some stuff. I had read that some people said it got a little slow/down around episode 6 and I agreed but after finishing the final episode, the direction it went in those episodes made total sense why they did that. In general, I just am not a fan of shows where they ... All in all, a fantastic show IMO.
