  4. I think it was Hardcore Holly, Nic Foley was there last night to introduce the belt. I remember a few years ago when the Hardcore belt was retired and they had the last championship scramble consisting of all the former hardcore champions i including a couple female announcers who had held the title briefly when they jumped the champion at the interview. Did anyone watch the Money in the Bank pay per view and the several botched calls by the Refs?

Not saying this is anything to get excited about but he also tore up the EW Shrine Game
  7. I watched about 15 minutes of Ben Carson clips, he has no idea what HUD does or is doing. Most cabinet officials would at least put up some defense of their dumb policies. He was asked about REO and thought it was Oreo and then didnt know that REO stands for Real Estate Owned. His office misappropriated funds too.
  8. I don't know how any non-Boston fan could want Boston to get another championship in any sport.

Nah. I used to have that kind of metabolism, too. I was a lazy SOB and would eat an entire family-size frozen pizza for dinner every night, but I could not break past 145 (and even that only came after I started lifting four days a week). Then I turned 23 and my metabolism slowed down. Eventually came to rest at about 165 without any significant changes to diet and activity level. Did get up to 175 during a period of particularly low activity. Anyways, these days I'm around 155 and I eat much less/healthier than I did back when I was 145 and trying to put on weight.

    Game of Thrones Season 8

I don't recall seeing this when it came out.
  14. So you want Marchand's name engraved upon the cup on the same ring as the Capitals, forever dirtying it?

Reuben Foster carted off on 2nd snap of OTA's

And he's never played a down for us in the past, so in a technical way, we didn't really "lose" anything. Can't lose something you never had or used.

As you know, I’m all in on Montez - we debated him a bit, but wasn’t supposed to be there at 15. I only brought this post back for purposes of ES-Jeudy-consolidation - I don’t think the board loved any 2019 prospect as much we love Jeudy. Cashman fell because he’s supposed to be a pain in the butt, he had some extraordinarily odd interviews, but I’d definitely love to have him in DC. I haven’t watched Holcomb at all, I just knew he was a great athlete...I don’t know if he can play, but I imagine he can. Have you fired up any Holcomb games? I don’t suspect any ESer was higher on Montez, I’m on team Anselmheifer on Jeudy & MS.

I am sad for his health but let’s be honest, this is losing “potential”, nothing more. We think he was going to be good but he hasn’t really shown it consistently since coming into the league. For all we know, he could just be one of those uber athletic guys who never put it together even when healthy. Devastating is losing a guy like JJ Watt, a known commodity. Losing a player like Foster sucks but he won’t make or break the season.

I like the moves above, but we would have missed out on Sweat, who I love. Regarding the selections you said you would have made in this year’s draft, I wish we had drafted Blake Cashman instead of Holcomb. I don’t think we’d be in nearly as much trouble after losing Foster. Regarding Jeudy, Ioannidis, Settle, Allen, Payne, Kerrigan, and Sweat would be a truly fearsome group of pass rushers, and won’t be maximized unless we score points. Also, I think Jeudy is a better WR prospect than OBJ was. I’m not saying he’ll be a better pro, but as a prospect, I think he’s superior. He’s the best/most complete WR prospect in recent history, IMHO.
  21. They'll probably have to go with Bo Porter or Randy Knorr as caretaker for rest of the season (unless we have another Davey Johnson like figure in the organization. McKeon maybe? lol).
  22. These were my exact thoughts after he was drafted and after hearing about how not so much mobile he his. Don't really need a QB like Vick or RG3 just need someone who is good at reading the defenses and has the ability to move the chains 10-15 yards at a time. This is what Brady does. He moves the chains 10 yards at a time and keeps his offense on the field longer and his D well rested while tiring the other teams D. I can live with that. The local beat reported said Haskins looks really good, but has to remind himself that it is just the OTAs with no D on the other side coming at him. I think we all know this not just you.
  23. There was a lot of stupid stuff in the last few seasons. The first 4 seasons were really good though. (sort of like Sons of Anarchy)
