Presidential Election 2020 - ManChild vs Adult

If you read what I posted, you would have noticed that I didn't mention new benefits when talking about college. Just health care. Though, I will point out that engineering and math have been significantly altered by the advent of the internet, wi-fi, and etc. Engineering students today not only have to learn the basics of engineering still, but also learn how to make aps.

I think Bran is right in the end. The Night King has marked him. And if Bran is really the Night King, or whatever that theory is, Bran has to die. I think there's still some validity to the fact that this all ends if the Night King can kill Bran, because it thus kills the Night King. Would NOT be surprised thinking on it more, that all these people die, and there's a scene with Jon pulling his sword at the Godswood from the trailer (if that's accurate), that has the battle basically being done for, everyone but the mains are dead and at the Godwood and surrounded, and the NK gets through and kills Bran ... and as soon as he does, everyone but the living disappear to dust. Then again, why would this entire series be built around this ominous threat for the end result just to be that Bran has to die. It's a cool theory, but in terms of how that plays out in the TV show, i feel like the attachment to Bran is such that most would say "meh, wtf was that" if it were to come true haha.
  4. A: Show me some text in the Mueller Report where it says it was not needed. B: "How would you like to spend two years and $30 million assembling a report that concludes you were not needed in the first place? Voilà: the Mueller report. Nice work if you can get it. " This is disingenuous : https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/02/12/mueller-russia-investigation-costs/2736507002/ C : This whole "Mueller Report totally exonerates Trump/ shows the real criminals are the FBI" is some serious partisan garbage.

Then why is Landon Collins tweeting for Ramsey to be a Redskin? He must like him? I agree, but it's also a very deep position for us and is the best area to pull from to fill a hole or two somewhere else. If we could deal say, Settle and a #2 for Ramsey just think how formidable and nasty our defense would be? Wow. At some point, after being NFL afterthoughts for 25 years, this team has to go all in and get playmakers.

BBC - Sri Lanka Explosions: More Than 200 Killed Easter Morning

The one thing @Bang has right about this is the sheer exhaustion of the matter. The real answer is what @TryTheBeal! said, no one cares about Sri Lanka. They fired one of the head guys of security for the country because they got warnings weeks prior and did nothing with it. It would be nonstop if it happened, but that's a big reason why it most likely won't. Reading it was a small group that got outside help. This was retaliation, the f**ckers just slipped through the cracks.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

I, dan snyder, would like redskins nation to give thanks to the greatest gm there was, there is and best there ever will be...bruce allen for making this team a title contender over this draft as we have had the best draft ever. Bruce is in the other room talking on the phone with the coors rep to get a direct tap in the draft room so we would like to conclude our GOAT draft. We set out to have the greatest and by every bit of means we had the greatest. You think not? Lets have some coors and talk about it. First of all, we got the goat cb..he gonna be better than primetime, revis, and peterson all together. Ya heard me? Its dirty murphy. 1-15) The goat, cb- washington Second of all, we got it all on lock down. Superbowl? Pfttt its on lock. Sb odds for skins just became .15:1 2-46) its on lock, qb- Missouri Seriously, how did he make it that far? Thirdly, pratt yourself on the back...you other peonic gms....because we just secured the best front 7 in the league. 3-76) pratt yourself, lb, nc state Second thirdly, uh zuglahaven des beggin the questionzugen...top 1 ol nowsenheiser. Howzer? 3-96) Beau Benschewelzeigerneuglinhaven, OG, Wisconsin Fourthly, and fifthly - the next jason taylor is en route to DC...as a pass rush specialist. 5-153) jalen taylor jelks, oregon For all you greek mythologist lovers, we got the Zeus...yup. THAT ZEUS and he gonna zeus zeus riot in the slot. 5-173) olamide Zeuzchaus, wr, uva @volsmet Sixthly, we got the robotic lengthy primetime, who can jump higher than a harris weel...he will be rounding out the corner depth. 6-206) deion primetime harriswheel, cb, North dakota Seventhly, what you telling me is thats its heavenly. I got the recipe to weed out discrepancies...u checkin me? 7-227) alex bars, OL, Notre damus And its cole world for this young predecessor to mister irrelevant 7-253) cole tracy, k, lsu We had the goal to really secure the OL interior and beau can lock down lg. Alex bars played multiple positions so he and flowers would be battling for depth. Drew lock will have an open competition to supplant case for the starter. And we had to get another lb in next to reuben foster. Mason cant do it anymore and needs to get cut. Slide pratt next to him and that is one hell of a front 7. Murphy and norman with dunbar is good as it can gets 1-3 corners plus landon collins roaming around will make it that much better. Jelks has all the tools to be a filthy pass rush just needs to work om his first step and technique a little bit but he has a decent amount of moves to help compliment who we have already. Dhop got competition and olamide my fav player i drafted would undoubtedly take that slot role and never be challenged...hes that good. He can also fill a CT role if u wanted. Overall, we think we killed the draft, rounding out the defense as a whole, interior line, a qb I was looking to get a bigger receiver and te but yall kept picking them up. This was fun guys

My TV now has an internet jack or wi-fi, can stream different file types, has apps, and a bunch more input types. Did math or engineering or writing history papers change much? My point is more of a generic pissy one... i think it is finacialization that has screwed up education, health care...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laplace's_demon "We may regard the present state of the universe as the effect of its past and the cause of its future. An intellect which at a certain moment would know all forces that set nature in motion, and all positions of all items of which nature is composed, if this intellect were also vast enough to submit these data to analysis, it would embrace in a single formula the movements of the greatest bodies of the universe and those of the tiniest atom; for such an intellect nothing would be uncertain and the future just like the past would be present before its eyes." In a deterministic world, knowing everything that has ever happened and everything currently happening means you're seeing the determined future too. He sees the sept explosion before it happens. He sees the throne room destroyed (same vision Daenerys has). I have yet to see a reason how that's possible without him being able to at least partially see the future.

Exact same thing happened to me. I also did not invest the time into learning how to play it well. Separately, I bought Civilization VI for Ipad a few months ago. I played it a bunch and then moved on. I went to play it some more this past week, but evidently the developer released an update in December that broke the game completely, and they have not fixed it yet.

Plenty of WR's available in a trade down to the bottom of round 1 as well as round 2 and 3. No reason to take one at 15 considering the valuations and the depth of the class at the position. We got similar value with Ioannidis (although you can't be expected to find such steals consistently so late, Ioannidis would have probably been a late day 2 guy in a weaker class). This draft has a ton of WR's that would normally go in the 50-100 area that can probably be found 150-200, ditto guys with 20-40 slotting found in the mid second to mid third. Just makes sense to either trade down for WR, or take one in round 2 or 3.

I think that it has a net benefit on the US economy is extremely unlikely. It isn't like the people that have the money that is going to be used to pay off the debt are hiding under their mattress. It is in the economy doing something. Let's say they put it in the bank. This means that banks now have more money to lend, which means that can (should) lower interest rates, which means it is easier to buy a house, which means in fact we propping up home ownership. I think income inequality is an issue so I'm not overly going to complain about the idea of taking money from the most wealthy Americans to do much of anything else, but I don't find this a very appealing approach, and think your general argument of the benefits to everybody is likely false.

I am ok with it if its not at 15 but in a trade down. I was thinking what could they do that would upset me the most at 15: A. trading up for Daniel Jones B. trading up for Dwayne Haskins C. Taking Daniel Jones at 15 D. Greedy Williams E. Rashan Gary -- I am wary about what I've read about why but haven't watched him yet. on another note:

I voted republican once i think. I was away in college in 2004 and didn't care at all and didn't vote for Bush. I identified as a republican, but I didn't vote. I voted for McCain in 2008. I don't know that I've voted for a republican since. Maybe Vogel. I'd have to go check. This is one of those things I was talking about where you try to sum me on up the boards and you're wrong. I've voted for democrats far more often than republicans. Same here. Though I was never on food stamps. Although we might have been when I was really young and they just never told me, my parents are private like that and we were absolutely very poor at one point. Like sleeping on the floor of a trailer poor. I don't think we were but i suppose it's possible. Same here. I'm cool with it. I'm just not cool with completely neglecting everyone else that paid a **** ton for school too just because they *gasp* found a way to pay for it aside from loans.

Yeah, given the reporting, I think they have a strong chance at going edge if they stay put. Guessing backup plan is OT. That’s presuming a favorite qb doesn’t fall within range. If they trade back, I think they lean away from edge (the top guys are gone, unless Sweat or Ferrell falls) and it becomes OT or receiver. 2nd round looks like probably wr or oline, though S (Savage and probably Thornhill) comes into play. 3rd looks like 2 of - wr/OL (if they haven’t gotten one by then), QB and ILB. I’ve said for a long time now that qb with the comp pick from Cousins has a poetic symmetry. Wildcards here = edge and safety, though I don’t love the choices as much, and corner. 5th - no idea really, but it would be a good time to add a corner (if they didn’t in the 3rd), and they probably take a hard look at TE and whichever of the above they haven’t addressed. Wouldn’t be surprised if they double up on a receiver and/or OL either (assuming they’ve grabbed one of each by now - which seems a safe assumption).

It doesn't happen in both cases broadly because both cases are not generally governed by free market principles. Not enough people pick their college bases on costs/benefit analysis (and doing so is very hard to do), and then you see the same with healthcare. Even figuring out if a doctor is actually a "good" doctor is very difficult. To sort of echo tshile's point, I went to college along time ago when it was much more affordable, but even then I knew people that were taking out loans to go out of state. For the most part (for most states), I don't have a lot of sympathy for people that took out big loans to go to an out of state or non-state school. Then for both of them there are specific issues: It doesn't happen in education because education costs are tied to taxes and state funding for higher education, even when corrected for inflation is going down. And it has gone down as the number of people going to college have gone up. By and large, colleges are being asked to do more (teach more students) with less money (from the state). The money then has to come from somewhere to fill the gap. I will point out since the end of the recession in state college tuition increases haven't been that bad on average. https://trends.collegeboard.org/college-pricing/figures-tables/2018-19-state-tuition-and-fees-public-four-year-institutions-state-and-five-year-percentage 7% increase over 5 years on average and even negative for some states. It doesn't happen with health care because for 2 reasons: 1. There are barriers associated with safety in getting into the generic (non-patent protected) market more so then other industries. Even generic drugs have to go through an FDA approval process that makes it difficult, time consuming, and costly to bring a new generic to the market. This then stifles the number of generics brought to the market and competition. 2. Unlike tvs, that all broadly do the same thing (entertain us), new different drugs do new different things. Yes the tv I have is bigger than what my parents had when I was a teenager, but other than that, it does pretty much the same thing. I have family members that likely would be dead if they had to use the same drugs/medical practices that existed when I was a teenager.

PHIL HAYNESG, WAKE FOREST DEMON DEACONS NFL Draft Scout's Rob Rang lists Wake Forest G Phil Haynes as his favorite guard that won't go in the first-round in the 2019 NFL Draft class. Haynes (6'4/322) has seen his stock really rise in the month of April, and has visited with several teams after performing solidly at the NFL scouting Combine and NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. "What I appreciate most about Haynes (a four-year starter) is that not only does he still have the balance and body control of a basketball player, he’s completely remade his body, now possessing as imposing and powerful of a frame as any blocker in this class," writes Rang. At this point, we should expect to see Haynes name called before the end of Day 2, or at the latest, early on Day 3. SOURCE: NFL Draft Scout Apr 22, 2019, 3:40 PM
