We always load up our pasta with veg when making any spaghetti-ish dish. We use the Barilla protein penne, and load up with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini and lean ground beef to fill up the plate without as many carbs.

No matter what I do, I can’t get the color I’d prefer grilling over high heat on a pellet grill, even with 100% charcoal pellets. Still tastes great though. Filet seasoned with a mixture of Holy Cow, and Kinders Cowboy Butter and Caramelized Onion Butter rubs. Onions, shrooms, and garlic finished with W sauce and garlic butter when they came off, and corn with roasted potatoes.

I don't know of anyone who claims to be smarter or know more than FO people. It's a completely bad faith way to belittle people's opinions. Because that's what they are, opinions. Opinions about football players. You should be able to express the opinion that a move could be a mistake without someone straw manning the claim that you think you know everything. There are people here who simply express opinions about football players in the way you’ve proclaimed here and nobody is talking about that. Thats what the board is for. I have nothing against strong opinions by folks who take the hobby of scouting football players seriously. In fact, @Skinsinparadise is a shining example of how to do that in a way that doesn’t ooze delusion and arrogance. There’s a difference between developing strong opinions on a player and just flat out indicting Peters and the top brass with all sorts of completely made up stuff like their decisions are all about trying to win now, or that Quinn wants a running QB because it’s harder for him to defend, or that if they don’t select Maye it’s a bad process no matter how each player turns out, and any other made up narratives like that. Conveniently enough you mention several players you were right about, where others were wrong, without any mention of those you got wrong. We all get some right and get some wrong. The best of the best that do this for a living get a lot wrong. Again, there’s a difference between being having a strong opinion based on analysis and just outright making up narratives- which is what my point has been all along. There are some very strong statements built on flimsy foundations running amuck in here and I’m not talking about being concerned with Daniel’s pressure to sack rate or Maye’s footwork.

You seem to really take my comments on this subject very personal, as if you read my posts and feel that you are being targeted. I’m aware that there are folks in every organization, across all industries, that don’t belong there - including the NFL for sure. I said this earlier and I’ll say it again, I have no qualms with folks who enjoy scouting for hobby, and talk passionately about their analysis. But there’s a line where it becomes laughable just how overly confident and arrogant some folks can be.

That’s really not my point at all. I could name several times where I’ve been right and the scouts and GM’s have been wrong myself. But we are at a point where some posters will literally claim they are right, even if they are wrong, because their choice is the right choice via the right process. And all sort of other mental gymnastics. Posters I’ve watched die on hill after hill over players and still pretend they are alive

My primary point was that neither give me the warm and fuzzies. Not that giving me the warm and fuzzies is a proven method for determining QB success. I realize we are fortunate to be in this position and I like who we’ve got making the pick. At the end of the day, I’m going to be very hopeful about whoever we draft. Just for whatever reason, I can’t join the fray and be gung ho about either guy.
