Exposing undemocratic disinformation tactics, Cambridge Analytica etc. data mining

Almost everything Republicans whine about is somehow related to how they operate.

"the gays getting married will destroy marriage as an institution!" --------> nominate a thrice married adulterer, who bangs porn stars while his wife is giving birth

"the librul lifestyle will lead to pedophilia and child rape" ------> openly back a pedophile in a senate election

"globalism wahhhhhh" ---> elect a globalist who is pretending to be a nationalist, who very well may have colluded with a foreign power to assume power

"illegals interfere in our elections" ----> very well could be that illegals worked on the Trump campaign

I was recently reading in a local DC publication about how conservative men are having a hard time dating women in the city. Congrats bozos. No one wants to **** a racist, pedophile-friendly moron.

Expected, but this pretty much confirms that Facebook, like any huge corporation, really cares most about growth, money, market dominance, higher stock prices(ha!), and more of all of it. That's how I interpret it, anyway.

and VP 'Boz', tries to say this memo was meant to encourage discussion. It reads more like a mission statement to me

I don't know if anyone is watching Zuckerbergs hearing with the Senate right now. This is the worst ****ing thing I have ever watched.

Zuckerberg is a drone pretending to be human and a bunch of clueless 80 year old men asking just the worst questions.

Senator, we sell ads. 😄

Seriously Orrin Hatch needs to retire. Maybe then someone will send him extra lives for Candy Crush.

Probably missing it here, but I don't think Zuckerberg cares about the UK and being called into Parliament.  I'm not a Zuckerberg fan but...I mean, what are they going to do to him?  Oooo, he's gonna get a summons next time he enters British territory!  The only way that people can hurt facebook/Zuck is...delete it.  Cancel accounts.  Delete profiles.  But that's not realistic.

Something tells me Zuckerberg doesn't answer any of those questions and flips the bird at the UK, unless there are some big business ventures he has in the UK...and then he'll play nice.

I also think it's hilarious that the British writer used the term "colonial power" in her tweet.  Well done.

Doesn't seem quite that much to worry about here, despite the clicky headline. More just an effort to communicate. There's some good links in here explaining some of the workings of developer access, privacy rules, etc.
