Come on guys. You don't work in PR for a NYC communications firm, PR guru Matthew Hiltzik, serve as Press Secretary for a Presidential Campaign, and serve as Communications Director in the White House and not be qualified to be a communications director. She isn't an idiot who isn't qualified for any job just because she worked for Trump. Anymore than Elizabeth Warren is unqualified to be President because she's liberal...

What would be considered a blue wave in the House anyways? Simply retaking it (+25 seats)? Closer to a +40 gain? More?

Dems gained 7 seats in the 2016 election by the way.

Retaking isn't a blue wave.  They need 23 or 24 to have the majority?  A wave is 40+.

A tsunami would be 60+ House seats plus winning 10 + governorships and getting the Senate back.

The Dems should regain the House and win at least some of the governorships back. I think the Crooked GOP keeps the Senate and maybe win a seat or two more.  In the Senate, you could see a couple of Dem seats go to the GOP and a couple of GOP seats go to the Dems.

Anything Trump appears to be doing illegal is always met with the same series of responses:

He Didn't Do it

Maybe he did it, but....

Who cares if he did it

The goal post moving by his supporters as far as what they care/don't care about is astounding.  I remember when the right was claiming that Obama was a cult-ish like figure (now being said about Beto O'Rourke btw), and perhaps early in Obama's quick rise you could make the light argument that people were captivated by his speeches of hope over actual substance (although it turns out they had plenty of substance), but I find it weird how Trump can basically talk out both sides of his mouth on just about every single issue, making it apparently clear that the only thing he is pro, is pro-himself, and people continue to eat it up.

Reminder:  These are people that were righteously pissed that Obama once wore a tan suit.

The people at WSJ probably, for the most part, believe taxes are theft anyways, and so breaking tax law isn't a bad thing.

It is done, the unions have done it as well.

Probably a booming market for it in Austin :ols:

Do you think the guys that work for you could wring a little more out of you if they organized?   Maybe you're really fair, I'd like to think so.

See, I just can't understand how Republicans can (middle class or lower ones anyway) justify in their head that labor shouldn't use the only power they have, organizing, to maximize their share of the pie.  Seems common sense to me.

No, pay here is performance based.(just as mine is)

Striking/organizing to me means you don't want the job and there are hundreds of other shops here you can go to.

Only wringing would be some necks. :pint:.

I think she is qualified, I also think it’s very sketchy and State Newsy.

Absolutely. But if a conservative said a woman wasn’t qualified for a job, what would the reaction be on this board? How many posts about the patriarchy and how misogynistic the guy was?
