Fergasun
I had a cold 2+ months ago, sinus infection. As typical, my taste buds were dead and I couldn't taste anything. Unlike normal, I still have limited taste (or smell, or whatever it is). Sure, I taste things - but everything tastes like a shaddow of itself... and I feel texture more, cold, leafy, etc... but my taste is dull. Anyone have any hints on what I should do? Anyone go through this too??

Sacks 'n' Stuff
It's not uncommon from what I understand and, like you said, texture seems to take the place of taste for determining what foods you like.
Spaceman Spiff
Finally time to step up and eat ****ty tasting vegetables, that's what I'd do. Â
Springfield
Just rub some Windex on it. ...but seriously, you should see a doc if it concerns you or of it doesn't get any better. No one should have to go through life without the sense of taste. #allsensesmatter

It's like holding your nose before you eat/taste something. Probably still having sinus issues.
codeorama
I had that happen a few years ago.  It was really weird.  It lasted about 4-6 months, then everything was back to normal.  No idea why.

Kosher Ham
3 for 3.  Wait, perhaps I am an alcoholic.  2 for 3 isn't terrible. We are happy about that in a baseball series.
d0ublestr0ker0ll
PBR actually went up in price a few years ago and is now on the expensive side of the macro American lagers. Last time I bought it was after I watched Gran Torino. It's what Clint Eastwood's character drank all the time. Schlitz went off the deep end though. Huge hike in price around the same time as PBR hiked theres. You'll never catch me buying those. High gravity malt liquor baby. Better tasting, MUCH cheaper piss water and gets ya nice without having to drink a dozen of 'em. Ain't no shame in this game.
CBass1724
I will drink the hell out of some PBR or Coors Light. I'd prefer a 40 of Hurricane, though.
