I have a billion dollar idea but…

Chipwich is right. You need angels. You need to assemble a trustworthy team who know how to see an idea to fruition. There are people like that. They listen, but are very eager to say "no."

One thing I am confirming is you need more than a great idea or great product. You need marketing and business savvy. For instance, I'm getting an incredible response to my book, but relatively low sales. Based on a meager sample size of two, when I go to a Con I actually sell better than my peers, but still that's relatively low volume.

How to reach thousands, tens of thousands, or millions is at this point beyond my skillset. You need to find people who believe in your idea and will latch on. One caveat, there are people who know how to do this, but there will also be people looking to bleed you dry. Be careful.

Oh, and if your idea makes a billion dollars... buy two copies of my book :)

I don't want to give away too much but it's sort of like Uber for funerals.

If you're serious about your idea... think about a kickstarter campaign or indie go go. Is there a way you can beta test it on a small scale to prove its viability?

Keep it quiet though on social media or even here if you really want to give it a shot.

I was kidding about that being my idea. I really do have an idea though.

Surely there are companies or businesses out there where you just give them the idea and they run with it? I'll let them have mine if I jut get to keep 10% of the company. 10% of a billion is pretty good, right. Heck, I'll do it for 5% if they just want to pay upfront.

There are companies that do that, it's called venture capital or private equity or angel investors.  You need to put things on paper first, or just send me everything in a PM.

Aren't those companies that invest while you do the work though? I can't do the work is the problem.

I will make it easier to understand.  You give yourself the title of CEO.  You put your idea on paper, I like to call it Marchitecure.  Marketing Brochures/Architecture of your idea.  Then investors give you millions of dollars.  You then hire a President and a team of people to build your idea.  You are the CEO, the brains guy.  You just take some of that money and travel around telling people your idea.  Then the company takes off, your stock is worth billions.  They fire you because you are just bouncing around the world doing nothing.  Your stock is then cashed out and you win.

Ah, I think I figured out your idea.

Some people just don't know how to do revenge.

1. Ignore them

2. Live well

3. Kill them with kindness

These are the three most common mistakes I see people making in this field. You need action.

I have actually started a business (www.escorts-with-aids.com) for anybody who needs to right a wrong. Don't hesitate to reach out via PM if you have any questions or need more information and be sure to use the promo code EXTREMESKINS to receive 15% off.

I have an idea. A website where you can make friends. Like friends.com.

So many dating websites but no friends websites.

I actually thought this was a good idea maybe I'm dumb.

I wanted to start a site where dudes could hang out, talk sports, compare beers, etc. Figured men dot Com would be a good name. Googled it and saw it was taken. It's nothing like my idea.

Million dollar ideas are a dime a dozen. They really are. Not trying to be a dick but take a number

It's the people that actually do something about it that are rare

Therein lies my problem. It's not that I'm afraid of hard work. I'm busting my butt on a project right now but it's one where I actually have some expertise. I just know my limitations and that I'm not qualified for this other idea.

Kitten mittens?

More seriously though, what type of business and what does it deal with (don't have to go into specifics)? But the things that are going to be kicking it into gear are mobile related with immediate results. Start there and see what you can do because more than likely the idea is out there but just a matter of who gets it going first in the most efficient way.
