Makes sense looking back in hindsight. It also makes sense that Suge Knight wanted revenge, and also ordered hit on Biggie.
s0crates
Interesting. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention. $1 million paid by Diddy for the hit? Seems like a lot. Why would it be worth so much to him? And Biggie was killed in retaliation for only $13k? Doesn't seem like much. I guess I'd have to see the film, but it sounds iffy. The article suggests that all the evidence is witness testimony and confessions, nothing forensic, and they're pinning the shootings on dead people, so no prosecution of them is possible. And I'm unclear why they don't prosecute Diddy or Suge Knight if the case is so strong? How's that saying go? "Wanna get away with murder? Kill a rapper." Probably worth noting that the detective who "solved" the case was working to exonerate the PD in a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
Chew
My thing is, the "beef" was the best thing that ever happened to both pac and big. Record sales were off the charts. Why kill the competition? Tupac was a joke, straight cornball brotha. There wasn't an ounce of thug in him, not like he was a threat to Diddy's and Big'screen safety. Suge was the only bona-fide thug
BornaSkinsFan83
No, no, no. Southside Crips killed Tupac because he beat the **** out of dude (Orlando Anderson) in the casino like an hour before. It's just some run-of-the-mill street ****, NOT some big conspiracy. Suge did do the Biggie thing though. If Suge wasn't gonna make his money off of Tupac then Diddy wasn't going to get **** out of Biggie. Secondly, Diddy is a ****. You think he's involving himself in murder? He just wants to make his money. Thirdly, if there was a conspiracy, Anderson was a friend of Eazy E. If anyone wanted to get at Death Row (and the PIRU Suge), it'd be people associated with Reckless. Lastly, how the hell would an LA detective know ****? It happened in Vegas. Â Â Â Â I just watched the documentary, and the detective makes it clear during the documentary that the fight at the MGM Grand between Tupac & Orlando Anderson was the catalyst to what happened later that night to shooting and murder. Â It just so happens that Diddy (who had South Side Crips protection when in LA) got Orlando Anderson's uncle Keefe D to agree to do a hit on both Tupac & more importantly Suge Knight. Â Diddy didn't want to kill Tupac, he just wanted Suge dead, but when Keefe D called Diddy that night, and explained to him that Suge was with Tupac, Diddy then decided to go ahead and move forward with the plot. Â Apparently Suge Knight scared the living **** out if Diddy, and threatened his life on multiple occasions, even bribing people close to Diddy to give up info on house addresses for Diddy & his family. Â Diddy was scared of getting killed, so he had to fight back and be preemptive.
BornaSkinsFan83
Why the hell would he let himself get his ass kicked and then go shoot them? That would make him THE prime suspect from the start. Doesn't make sense. And again, even if Diddy was scared for his life, he wouldnt put a hit out on anybody. If anything that would just put a bigger target on his back.
BornaSkinsFan83
Sorry man. I remember the "Tupac & Biggie" doc from like a decade ago. Still have it on DVD somewhere in a box from then. Same conspiratard nonsense. Other conspiratard theory, Pac was wanting to leave Death Row so Suge killed him (nevermind the fact that. Suge was sitting 3 feet away and got shot in the head.) Another thing I lived in LA, I've dealt with and have friendships with people from South Central and the surrounding areas. Lot of OG type folks that were around then. Not to toot my own horn or anything, it just is what it is. So that said, it's pretty accepted that what I described happened. Just some run-of-the-mill street **** (that set off a hang was in South Central in the ensuing weeks). Pac went hard one too many times. That or prison happens to 98% of people living that lifestyle. Money don't matter. And again, I'm never going to believe some crooked ass LA detective selling a story.

Sacks 'n' Stuff
Nah, Dylan proved that long before Tupac.Oh come on now. Bob Dylan is an amazingly talented musician and songwriter. Not the best singer but you can't downplay his other talents because of that.

Agree with all of that...except the Diddy part. He may not be a killer but he's that guy that will fight anybody to prove he's tough. He's not soft. He's actually crazy. But yeah, Pac obviously thought that he was superman and couldn't be touched and he was proven wrong. It was ordinary street **** and his dumbass got caught up in it. While he was a brilliant man, he was pretty stupid at the same time
samy316
The reason the cases will never re-open, is because both shooters of Biggie & Tupac are long since dead. Â Orlando Anderson was killed in 1998 outside of a Compton Car Wash, and Wardell "Poochie" Fouse (who was the one who pulled the trigger on Biggie), was also killed in 2003 in Compton while riding his motorcycle. Â Since both of the alleged shooters are deceased, there's no reason for both the LAPD or the LVPD to ever open the case. Â The only man still alive from both murders, is in prison for a separate charge (Keefe D). Â Diddy most likely had something to do with Pac's murder but will never be charged. Â Sure Knight is also about to be put away for life, so he's never going to pay for that specific murder, but will pay for his sins nonetheless for other crimes.
