Dfitz & Karla Two ES Members need our help!

For those that have been around for a long time will know the story of Dfitz & Karla.  They met on ES, started dating, got married, and now have kids.  They are the true ES love story and two of the nicest people I know.  Earlier this year they had twins (they already have one daughter Gloria) and shortly after birth lost their newborn daughter.  Daniel their son will turn a year old in February.  Throughout the tragedy Karla and Dave have kept their strength and love of family.  A few days ago Karla was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and needs to start treatment immediately.  They are staying strong and positive but could really use our help.

If anyone has a little extra cash this holiday season or into the new year you could NOT make a better donation to these two wonderful people.

Wow I had no idea. Fitz is one of my all time favorite ESers, I had no idea they were going through all this.

Thanks for letting us know and raising awareness so we can help

Thanks for heads up. 2 of the best on es

That is why I posted it as I know a lot of folks here love them both as much as I do.  They are amazing people!

This community is awesome.  I just want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support.

We received great news yesterday that the cancer is localized to the breast and has not spread, so it should be 100% treatable.  It will take about a year to run through the whole regimen, which will include about 6 months of chemo, a few surgeries, and then 6 weeks of radiation with rest periods in between.  The long-term outlook for women in her position is very good.

For the life of me I can't bring Karla to mind. df obviously. But not his far better looking (educated guess  :P) other half.

Sorry to all heck to read the OP. Made up as anything more to read the long term prognosis is so good with it being confined.

To have this on top of what must of been the most trying of years with the loss of your little angel I couldn't even begin to comprehend. Stay strong guys and may He watch extra specially over you as you fight through this.

Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hail.

None of that is easy, and I don't do payments of any kind online...PM me an address, please.

I've never spoken with Karla that I'm aware of, but want the best for any woman going through it.  (And I'm in GA, so there's that...)
