Brawl inside the concourse after the game

Anyone catch this 4-5 person brawl in what appeared to between fan bases? This NY fan spun out of the brawl so I grabbed him and held him back from entering the fray telling him to let it go. He then squirms out then takes a swing at a chick, then joins his buddy pounding on a skins fan on the ground. Took a lot of self control not to kick him in the head after seeing that.

If you can't handle your liquor, please stay the **** home.

Your first mistake was grabbing the dude and holding him back in the first place...if you see a brawl happening, just walk past it. You don't know any of the people, so it's none of your business. Let them act like fools, and don't take a risk of getting involved. Be smarter next time...

You're not going to see Disney on Ice folks, it's a football game and emotions are running hot. I have no problem with a brawl if nothing serious happens.

i cant agree with this at all. brawls at sporting events are trashy and ridiculous. especially those that involve a bunch of dumb drunks, which is basically all of them.

What I didn't say was that he spun pretty much into my arms. I could have dropped him. Tried to do the guy a solid and he go into Summers Eve mode.

Your team won or lost....not you. If you want to fight people after the game in either case than you are taking it way too seriously.

I would normally agree but you can't let people, drunk or not, just pound someone who's already on concrete and in a vulnerable position.  The people who are fighting probably don't want a death on their hands and the person getting hit doesn't want to die.

Also, there are times when someone is innocent and is targeted like that guy at the SF Giants game who was killed in a "brawl."  Do you let someone get killed in front of their child? I don't know.

Not saying this situation was one of those, but don't be so quick to dismiss stopping something before people end up dead or ruined.

One of the reasons I don't go to games. Just too much drunken idiocy.

Agreed.  I went to my first (and only) skins game in 2006 late in the year against Philly.  The drunkenness and hostility was just way out of control, not to mention the quality of the experience of being at our stadium.  Not even close to worth the effort.  If I got free tickets to a home playoff game, I would consider going, but otherwise it's just way too hostile and way too much drunkenness to be worth it.

Yay. Walk right past someone being assaulted. Dont even at the bare minimum, alert anyone. Thats your life lesson for today, kids.

If they're stupid enough to fight after a football game that they don't have ANY control over, they don't deserve any help in my opinion. Although if a situation came up where it was a life/death thing, I'd find help QUICKLY, then head on my way back home. Wouldn't want anyone to die. But my motto is, if it's nothing serious, and it's none of my business, walk past it. Besides, I'm not strong enough to hold anyone back from a fight or to try to stop a fight.

Sorry, but if it was me, I'd had done the same thing.

Its not the old days where you get in a fight with someone, one ends up winning, they both get up and walk away or it stops there;

today, more than likely the loser ends up pulling out a weapon or the winning combatant doesn't know when to stop, and the other guy ends up permanently injured.

Maybe its just me, but wounds last longer than emotions, and I wouldn't care if it was a Cowboys fan, they're a person first, regardless of my personal feelings towards his team, its called respect for life. Just stay away from bad influences in life and you'll be ok.

Good to know you wont have my back if I get jumped by some idiots which by the way did happen to me at a Skins vs Chargers game in S.D. While cheering a win, 4 thugs jumped me and my bro, wasn't good! Just wish I could know who you are so if I see you getting the worst end of a fightl I can think you deserved it too and don't deserve my help. And by the way I have jumped in to help a fellow Skins fan. Skins fan was being pushed around at a Raiders game in L.A. so my bro and I stepped in to help him, once the punks saw the numbers were equal they just spit on us and ran.

What section was this at?

There was a fight in the Green "D" lot after the game too.

All I heard was **** and **** you then this giants fan was on the ground.

Then there was a huge gaggle of people with this morbidly obese skins fan yelling "Worldstar! Worldstar!"

It was chaotic

Be real, dude...Im not dumb, I don't get myself into stupid **** against other people at games. So it won't happen to me. And of course i WANT to help out fellow skins fans, but I'm weak and I would do NO help at all...I would be useless in trying to stop a fight.

I only go to 2 or 3 games a year now. But when I do I go with my 13 YO son. And you can bet your ass I just walk right by when we see a fight. It would make me dad of the year to try to break it up and get my son injured in the process. I agree with the others let the idiots beat each other to death as far as I am concerned. I am not gonna stand there and watch regardless.

Cooley, I understand not being physically able to help but it was your attitude in the " if they are stupid enough to fight"  comment. Take my example, we were not looking to fight, we were singing our Hail To The Redskins song and cheering 3 and 0 ( that was the year we went 12 and 0 I believe) we were just walking down the street when we got jumped.
