Wonder if its actually related to PP or just happened to be near one...

Three police officers were injured after responding to reports of an active shooter near a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs on Friday, according to the Associated Press.

The shooter is “contained,” Lt. Kirk Wilson, a Colorado Springs police spokesman, told the Colorado Springs Gazette.

A reporter from the newspaper said “at least three officers” and “multiple civilians” were hurt in the incident.

I've heard rumors online that it is anti-abortion vigilantism. :(

Answering evil with evil is not good.

Vigilante violence at abortion facilities is immoral & condemned by Christians. We overcome evil with good, not with more evil (Rom 12:21).

EDIT: I've also been reading a lot of Twitter chatter saying it has nothing to do with PP, just happened to be nearby.

Anyone who has protested abortion clinics, or for that matter who has voted for anti-abortion candidates, should have their names recorded in a database so that we can track their activities. Perhaps we should even require that they wear something on their clothing so that we can identify them. Can't be too careful, can we?

Damn terrorists. I was so hopeful we'd get through this holiday weekend without anything like this. Wishful thinking.

Are all murderers terrorists? I see terrorism as mass murder being backed with a political or religious agenda. DHS has kind of clouded this definition. ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Timothy McVeigh? Yes, no doubt. This lunatic murderer? Not sure. I see terrorism as worse than one off murders, all though both are terrible.

Just my two cents...

****ing lunatic killing people around the holidays. Day after Thanksgiving? How do these ****ing people do this ****? Death penalty gets my vote.

Rape? 40 years and no parole.

Murder? Life with no parole, or death penalty.

Tired of these weak ass laws and "opportunities for rehabilitation" (which rarely works out).

Where is Roy Bean when we need him? :)

According to that Reddit link given earlier, police are stating on scanner they have detained the subject. He surrendered and states he was alone. One person "down" in the reception area. EOD bringing in a robot to check things out.

Yes and we should close all the churches, better safe than sorry.
