Sherlock Holmes
For us UK based Skins fans, this could be one of the most exciting days of the year. If the Skins are announced as playing in London next season, it will be ONE HELL OF A PARTY. Historically as most of you know, the Skins are incredibly well supported over here. The first NFL game shown on British Television was Super Bowl XVII (rig up that Diesel!), and so many fans adopted the Skins from that game onwards. I've been lucky enough to visit the US to see the Skins twice (once at FedEx, once in Miami), and I've been to 6 of the International Series games in London, but I'm not sure anything could top watching us in my home city. I know some Skins fans in the US would begrudge losing a home game to the International Series, and if that happened, the reaction might justifiably be mixed, but for me, it'd be a dream. Fingers crossed.

hail2skins
Thanks for the reminder Sherlock. Anyone know about what time tomorrow the announcement will be made? Boss_Hogg, I've read that fans of teams designated the home team in these games have only had to pay for nine (vice 10) games for that season. It earns a lot of money for the team that gives up the home game.
MartinC
It would be typical if the Redskins finally come play a regular season game in England in 2016, just as I relocate to the US (Phoenix).
Taylor703
They just showed a report on Twitter that we'll be hosting Green Bay in London next year lol. Of course we lose a home game.

A mixed response, as I expected. How much worse is flying to London from DC compared to flying to San Diego? And don't worry, we'll make it a home game. hail2skins, on 24 Nov 2015 - 11:37 PM, said: Thanks for the reminder Sherlock. Anyone know about what time tomorrow the announcement will be made? my_friend_goo
Hoping the announcement will be a good one for me. Would love to be able to take my Dad to see another Redskins game in his lifetime, having made the journey across the pond in 2013 with him. If the Skins are indeed coming over, you can count on me to be one of those helping any ES fans planning a trip over to watch the game. Also, an ES London meetup the night before is a must. pjfootballer
If it's Green Bay, this sucks. My mom has season tickets and I come up from Charlotte once a year for a game and I had my dibs in on the Packers to see Rodgers. Why can't we play Cleveland there? We get them and the Squeelers at home.

I just hate the idea of the redskins losing an home game.
HapHaszard
Just wondering how many pounds and ounces does one of these international games cost?

my_friend_goo
Just wondering how many pounds and ounces does one of these international games cost? We're part of the EU now, we're forbidden from using Imperial measurements. But at least we're not part of the Eurozone, so that'll be three shillings and sixpence. From what I hear, the tea vendors at wembley stadium charge ha'penny per china cup.
Riggo-toni
If we had a big fanbase in the UK, we won't any longer if we have to play GB.
MarkB452
..would hate to have the GB game moved to London. ...would hate to have the Cinn game moved either as my sister lives in Cinn and I am planning to go out to see her for that game. airborneskins
Its sad to realize that if it is against GB, we are going to be the "Fluff" team (like JAX / MIA). Either way, I will definitely be looking into a possible trip to the UK for this. My wife is pissed that I have been to London a few times (for work) and she hasn't. I just hope that the flights aren't too bad.
