And if so how do i become a part of it.

My wife and I would love to tailgate for the jets game and preferably around some people who arent ribbing us mercilessly because of the jerseys we're wearing.

Strength in numbers.

Any information anybody has would be greatly appreciated.

Thx.

Do you have more information on that tailgate party.

I assume the 65 dollars is per person and doesn't include an actual parking pass so where is the tailgate?

What lot should i buy a pass for if i do that tailgate?

I don't unfortunately. Just found it through the internet.

Think this is the appropriate email address if you want to try talking to them redskinsrally@redskins.com

Website is here http://www.redskinsrally.com/event/redskins-road-rally-tailgate-jets/?instance_id=35

Maybe someone on here has had experience with this particular tailgate? They seem to do them for all the Skins in NYC games anyway.

Seems like a very interesting event but i have two potential issues with it.

Id really like to be able to park close to it so i can have chairs and my own sorta home base for lack of a better way of saying it, and two it seems a large part of the 65 dollars goes toward beer and my wife doesnt drink beer so that would be wasted on her ticket.

Does seem fun though

I'm coming by train. I also won't be drinking, and I already have game tickets, so I probably won't be doing the Road Rally deal. If anyone is organizing a private tailgate, I and my son (Jets fan) would be happy to contribute food and beer.

  • Redskins Road Rally is putting together an event at REDEMPTION BAR & GRILL, our New York Home for watching Redskins games in Manhattan, on Saturday 10/17 starting at 6:30. There will be giveaways, food and drink, as well as a chance to win tickets to the 65.00 Road Rally tailgate and the game.

Second Avenue at 53rd Street.

I'm 99%, and common sense tells me, this is not the "RedskinsRally" or associated with the official one, that TK puts up...similar name, but they do the night before, not the tailgates typically that i've seen.

$65 is an awful lot, and ridiculous amount to charge for a tailgate.  But to each their own.

Typically, A extremeskin member will put together a tailgate if they are going to the away game, and people will meet up at the bar the night before.  Here is this weeks:

Usually before away games the Redskins have a pep rally at one of the local watering holes, lots of free stuff, shirts, tickets  etc, The one in Atlanta I posted some pictures here in the Stadium.  Doc Walker and Larry Michael were there.  I didn't see Bruce Allen at this one but he has attended some of them.  I just looked at the ad for the Atlanta one and it looks the same as this one in NY

That s very close to the one the team just sent me. Except this one the giveaway is a cup & not a tshirt. Wouldn't surprise me if they're giving away both though.

I'm not sure on who is actually doing the day of tailgates on these flyers. The high prices learns towards either the team doing it or a catering company, possibly brought in by the team. I know the team had tried to figure out something special to do tailgate wise last year at Philly but ended up not doing anything because they thought the eagle fans would trash the vehicles or something once everyone went into the stadium.

I pulled mine from redskins rally.com, maybe that got updated.  The tailgate poster does not look redskins official to me, you'd know more though.

And Philly.  Me and the cooler, and some charcoal.  We made it to tailgate.  Not one other flipping person!  I survived, even in my DJAX jersey.  I'll try again this year...

If skinsfanintn does carolina, i'll be there, if not i'll set the thread up.

This is a little off topic, but maybe someone in there might be able to shed light on it. I got tix for the game, but they were given to my girlfriend's father by the team themselves and they are in their section and VIP seats. Is it bad form to wear skins gear, or have I watched too much Seinfeld?

Key words: girlfriend's father

Is he involved with the team or did he just have tickets?

If the former, I would go in street clothes.

He isn't involved with team, but the guy that he got the tickets from is friends with them.
