ExtremeSkins Staff
The Washington Redskins on Monday signed back defensive end Frank Kearse, and signed wide receiver Issac Blakeney and linebacker Lynden Trail to their practice squad. goskins10
Welcome back Mr. Kearse!! Some think this means Perry Riley will be back. Either way that guy has to think he is on the end of yoyo string! For him, I hope he sticks for a few weeks this time so he can at least collect a few paychecks. manchild157
The one positive Kearse can take from this is that at least 1 team likes what he does. He needs to continue to get better and help out special teams.
Johns Bass
Maybe he'll see some time when the Skins go to a four man front? With all of their various injuries I expect to see them in this alignment quite a bit. A mild surprise that they waived Plummer but not a real shock. They signed a couple of kids to the PS. I don't see them as cracking the lineup this week but you never know. Lynden Trail - LB. 6'7"/269. Pretty tall for a LB. Maybe a pass rusher or cover guy on TE's? Can he play TE? Issac Blakeney WR. 6'6"/236. Can he lineup as a TE? A tad taller than Reed at 6'3" and the same weight. Like I said - pretty doubtful that these players crack the lineup this week but a couple of interesting additions.
goskins10
Plummer gave up the blocked punt. They have had to put Darrell Young in to block that side. I am surprised he was not gone sooner. :-)
Johns Bass
Outside of Trent Williams, DY is the best blocker they have on the roster right now. He's a better blocker in his sleep than most of those guys and should always be in there for those types of situations.

He is that type of guy. I remember when people were talking about him needing to go because we didn't really have a need for a FB. This guy is the kind of player everyone wants on their football team. He will literally do anything you ask, he is freak of an athlete and never gives you a bit of grief. He and Kerrigan are of the same mold. Give me a team full of DYs and R Kerrigan's (I know Ryan has started a little slow this year but if you remember outside of the crazy Jacksonville game he had a slow first half last year. He came on strong the last half. I have every confidence he will just get better each week.) and we will win a lot of football games.

We've been reading about Trail in the local paper here in Hampton Roads since he played at Norfolk State and Yes John's Bass, he has been worked out alot at Tight End during the offseason. Not sure if he's ever done in in games though.
