ExtremeSkins Staff
With more than 100 yards receiving and another touchdown catch Thursday vs. the Jaguars, Rashad Ross capped off an impressive 2015 preseason. View the full article
manchild157
Really like Ross. Interesting to hear he worked with DJax in the offseason on speed and route running. I still don't think this kid has reached his maximum speed yet and I do see him getting better over the next few years. Spencer should be practice squad player after he comes off the concussion protocol.
goskins10
Ok, for what is worth (I know, probably not much), here is what I see our 53 looking like. I will take a shot at the PS later. Need to see who has what eligibility out of who is left.  Note: I would like to see Robert cut for his sake and ours. But I am not sure that will happen. At least not right away so I am going with 3 QBs. Sooner or later we need to get to where we only carry 2 QBs. This carrying 3 really hurts our roster.   DEFENSE (25) LINEMEN (8) CHRIS BAKER, COREY CRAWFORD, KEDRIC GOLSTON, JASON HATCHER, RICKY JEAN FRANCOIS, FRANK KEARSE, TERRANCE KNIGHTON, STEPHEN PAEA    LINEBACKERS (8) HOUSTON BATES, WILL COMPTON, JACKSON JEFFCOAT, RYAN KERRIGAN, TRENT MURPHY, PERRY RILEY, KEENAN ROBINSON, PRESTON SMITH     DEFENSIVE BACKS (9) DAVID AMERSON, BASHAUD BREELAND, CHRIS CULLIVER, DASHON GOLDSON, DEANGELO HALL, DUKE IHENACHO, JERON JOHNSON, TRENTON ROBINSON, JUSTIN RODGERS  OFFENSE (25) LINEMEN (9) TOM COMPTON, ARIE KOUANDJIO, SHAWN LAUVAO, JOSH LERIBEUS, KORY LICHTENSTEIGER, MORGAN MOSES, TY NSEHKE, BRANDON SCHERFF, TRENT WILLIAMS  QUARTERBACKS (3) KIRK COUSINS, ROBERT GRIFFIN, COLT MCCOY  RUNNING BACKS (4) MATT JONES, ALFRED MORRIS, CHRIS THOMPSON, DARREL YOUNG  WIDE RECIEVERS (6) JAMISON CROWDER, PIERRE GARCON, RYAN GRANT, DESEAN JACKSON, ANDRE ROBERTS, RASHAD ROSS  TIGHT ENDS (3) DEREK CARRIER, JE’RON HAMM, JORDAN REED  TEAMS (3) KAI FORBATH, NICK SUNDBERG, TRESS WAY
TheyAreBack
Go - your roster looks good. Use commas next time to help the old people like me. Man - agree on Ross, I can't imagine them not taking him.
TheyAreBack
The play calling was not exciting but I assume that was the objective. Some players stood out, like Ross, but for the most part they showed a lot of discipline and after last year that is very good thing. For me it was hard to tell the differences, except for Ross, for the ones on the fringe - what will keep them on the roster. I am sure the coaches will be taking close looks at the game films, especially for the o-lineman and interior D players looking for those that stood out. While I don't think we are super bowl ready, we are a lot farther along than we have been for many years on building a team that is capable of getting to one - way to go Scot. (no likes left) - Unfortunately we were 8.6 pts/gm worse than our opponents last year. One decent offseason will not bridge that gap even if you have a stable QB situation. Ours is anything but that. I am afraid that even with improvement we could still be 4-12 5-11.

So in place of him I see Evan Spencer making the 53 off the strength of special teams play.

Go thanks for the commas, they really helps us older folks.  My predictions have a much wider margin than you, because: 1) They are a young team and should get better as the season progresses, but I have no idea by how much. 2) I know they have improved over last year, especially the D, but until we get 3 or 4 games into the season with 1st teams against 1st teams I have no idea how much they have improved. 3) I hate to see what has happened to RG3 but removing the distractions are worth at least 1 win.  I predict 5 to 9 wins, but as you know I have been wrong in the past and I may be wrong this time.
