NickyJ
Cooley decided that he didn't want the spot, so he gave Mack his blessing.

my_friend_goo
I'm just going to sit here patiently and wait for him to be cut, then at some stage re-signed again, just so's I can make a Return of the Mack joke. I might be waiting for a long time.

NIKKI8
I was kind of hoping when they opened up that last roster spot that maybe a veteran free agent might be coming in to camp to push for a spot. I know that he was a complete bust in Tampa Bay last year but for some reason I wouldn't mind seeing Anthony Collins brought in for training camp on a one year deal to see if he could get back to playing like he did for the Bengals every contract year. Even as a reserve. Gruden has never let it be known that he has ever had any interest in him though, and he should know him well, so maybe he doesn't think much of him. Not a big deal though, just the last roster spot and maybe the GM see's something in Mack Brown.
