Chip Kelly is occupying space in all of your heads

What was the first thing you thought of this morning when you woke up? Chip Kelly

What will be the last thing you think of before you go to sleep tonight? Chip Kelly

At this point, the only thing you can do is pray he isn't an utter genius who has turned the division, if not the NFL, writ large, upside down.

Oh, I fielded a top 5 offense and 10 win teams both years in the league? Ho Hum, I'm just going to compile the best on paper running back staple the league has ever seen and dare you to stop me as I mercilessly run the ball down your throat.

Oh, the defense, while being opportunistic, kept folding in key moments? How about I field the best front 7 in football and create LOB-East?

Sammy Bradford, ever hear of him? You are about to; more than likely when you are winded to hell and he picks you apart.

I laugh....LAUGH when people question or mock the greatness of Charles Kelly simply because their simple minds can't comprehend what he is putting together......or perhaps they can comprehend it but it is simply so overwhelming that these are the only responses detractors can muster.

I laugh....LAUGH

Well, I am laughing too because this post is hilarious.  You are a kook man, but we'll keep you around.

I'm going to answer all your questions:

- What was the first thing you thought of this morning when you woke up?

This is literally the first thing that goes through my head every morning when I wake up, "Ah ****, it's already 6 ******* 30?! Why the **** didn't I go to sleep earlier last night? I can't do this every **** morning! Okee dokee, time to hit the shower."

- What will be the last thing you think of before you go to sleep tonight?

Likely Charisma Carpenter. If I could do it all over again, I'd go full bore after Charisma Carpenter. Sure she was mildly famous and I am pretty much nobody, but OMG at least I could say I tried.  I will hug that pillow and think of Charisma....and maybe cry as my wife snores next to me.

- Oh I fielded a top 5 offense and 10 win teams both years in the league?

In the weakest division in football with the broke *** Cowboys beating him out for the division and the playoffs because his team couldn't pull their heads out of their ***** at the end of the season, you know, even though they had the "best QB in the NFL" and all.  Probably because they cut their best WR who they didn't need....though I'd bet he would have gotten them over the top in that tight race.

- Oh, the defense, while being opportunistic, kept folding in key moments?

Agreed.

- How about I field the best front 7 in football and create LOB-East?

I think Miami probably has that designation right now.

- Sammy Bradford, ever hear of him?

Yeah, isn't he the guy that people weren't sure about drafting because of injury concerns? Haha, he sure showed THEM!

- I laugh....LAUGH

Join the rest of us brother, join the rest of us, cause this **** is hilarious!

What was the first thing you thought of this morning when you woke up? Hangover.

What will be the last thing you think of before you go to sleep tonight? I am going to wake up with an hangover and her beside me.

I was eating some chips and salsa last night with my drinks. :)

I live here in Phila, and all the local fans and media are just wondering what he is doing? Where is all this trading away players leading too? There is a basic new team here now, only a few players remain, Celek, Cooper, and a few others here & there. The addition of Bradford, Maxwell, Matthews, and Murray is going to be a wait & see format. There's no telling what he has in store for this team by training camp in July.

Man I can't believe this guy never learns. He has been posting for years of how great the Eagles are and what is going to happen only to wake up at the end of each season still without a Super Bowl Championship team. Chip Kelly will be there for  a while because Eagle ownership is that stupid and will keep him around just like they did with Andy Reid and he is way better of a coach than Chip is.

What was the first thing you thought of this morning when you woke up? Given the wonderfully huge steak and potato dinner I consumed at Outback the night before, I'd say it was the anticipation of how big a **** I would eventually take after my second cup of coffee or before my third.

What will be the last thing you think of before you go to sleep tonight? How amazing that **** was and the question of whether or not I could ever again in my life achieve such a goal.

At this point, the only thing you can do is pray he isn't an utter genius who has turned the division, if not the NFL, writ large, upside down. My **** was a genius that could never be matched in my lifetime. One could only PRAY for that kind of morning ****.

I laugh....LAUGH when I realize no individual on this earth, not even your fat ****ing coach, will ever match the size of the **** I took this morning. Marvelous, Wonderful. Miraculous.

I think so far Chip has shown he can coach in the NFL.  I think he has shown he is a quality play caller.

That said, there is a BIG difference between coaching and general manager.  Agree with him or not, he definitely is taking the high risk high reward path.

To me, so many things have to go right for him this season to reach success.

As for the OP, typical WB36, spouting off at mouth.  And, taking a page from a former poster here, TR1, who used to do similar with puke fans.  Cast the line out and see who bites.

the time chip kelly stopped occupying any space in my head coincides roughly with the time he had to beat a wretched washington redskin team- featuring one of the worst defenses in professional football- and failed.

All part of his master plan.

And I'm sure Westy will be along any minute to clarify said master plan for us.

You're right, he does occupy space in my head. However, unlike Philly fans who have tiny brains, I can think about more than one thing.

It's like the whole empty trophy case thing. Philly fans have nothing floating around in there, so they have to occupy it 24/7 with hopes and dreams of what could be, but never has been. That's what is boils down to really. Philly is just a bunch of never-has-beens.

Here's to hoping you will never be anything more than the unlovable losers you are.

Chip Kelly rents no space in my head. I don't believe he upgraded much with Bradford over Foles slight but for what he gave up it was a win for the Rams, If he does well your in salary cap hell next year trying to keep him. I see no upgrade at the WR position and honestly no WR's worth a damn over there now, I see a mixed upgrade at the RB position - Demarco is good but always injured same with Mathews I'm certain neither makes it a full 16 game season and Sproles is old. Kiko? Ya whatever. If you can't stay healthy how exactly does that help you? He built an All IR Team and what will that give you? More years of empty trophy cases. Your best move was re-signing the best backup QB in the league today you are going to need him but what about Matt Barkley? Wasted pick there so much for Chips system working no matter the players involved

What exactly are we supposed to be afraid of with that sorry excuse of managing a team? I laugh at the thought, clipped wings Kelly sunk that ship. Bravo

Are you implying that Jeff Lurie kept Reid too long?  If so, when should he have fired him?
