ExtremeSkins Staff
In an interview with ESPN 980, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III talked about his injury-plagued 2014 season and moving forward with a new position coach in 2015. deepball1
I wonder why so many people thing that Matt Cavanaugh was brought in to help Griffin? Isn't there another quarterback on the team? I will make a prediction right now that Cavanaugh will do a better job with Cousins because Captain Kirk is a sponge and he is looking to become the starter on a team that is going to open up the QB position to REAL competition for the first time in 4 years. Riggo'sRangers
So you think Kirk is a sponge? I beg to differ. He was absolutely horrid last year, truly. He "feeds" off mistakes, in a bad way. Why to you think he was permanently benched? Heck, Colt probably performed the best, of all of our QB's, in actuality. I agree, the competition HAS to be wide open, as I'm not even sure we have our QB on the roster now, but to suggest Kirk was "the best", as you DID suggest, already corrupts your thought processes. Kirk was bad and I just want to win regardless of whom our QB is. Please don't make your prejudices so transparent. HTTR
goskins10
I will be glad when we trade/release Cousins so people can at least stop fantasizing that he is going to be a great NFL QB. He is another Rex Grossman. Looks the part sometimes but always self implodes when it starts to count. Virtually every time Cousins has come in, he has gotten worse at the games went on and even worse as the games in a row increased. Having said all that, one thing I will agree with MC is the QB for all he QBs on the team, no matter who they are. It's his job to coach all of them up and let the best one win. My prediction is it will not be Cousins. He may end up being a starter, but only if there are injuries.
