Gary Clark Fan
I won my custody battle, meaning I will have my daughter this Xmas !!! Those of you know or might now know I have been in a custody battle for over 5 years.....I sacrificed my house, every dollar in my bank account, my own personal health....because I refuse to give up my daughter who is everything to me. While I have joint custody my ex has pulled some crazy stuff on me and was refusing to give her to me for the holidays. Recently, I fired my attorney because he was a moron and took charge of my own case (I am a lawyer but not a family law attorney). She has a high price attorney who is a partner at a big time firm in Chevy Chase but I didn't back down and I won! I know we are all pissed with the Skins and angry about how this season has gone but **** like this puts things in perspective. I'll take 3-13 any season if that means having my daughter with me. BTW she loves the Skins and went to the Jax game with me this season. She actually doesn't understand why the Skins are so bad because as she said "they were so good against the Jaguars".....little does she know how bad things are. Anyways, regardless of your religion happy holidays to all and if you have kids give them a big hug tonight and be thankful for having them with you. Burgold
That's wonderful and even better than that is your response to it. Glad the children are so loved.

True definition of what a father should be. I can't imagine not seeing my daughter, even on a rotational basis should something happen with my marriage. Kudos and mad props to you for fighting for your baby girl. I hope the two of you have the best Christmas/holidays together broski!
jaybrant
Going through something similar at the moment. I really don't understand the thinking of a person who uses their own child against the other parent. Crazy. Anyway, congrats man. Best feeling in the world I'm sure. Ghost of
Congrats, man. I despise the fact you had to expend all of your available wealth in a system rigged against you, while your ex is on the "easy" setting because of what she is. You should have available money and a reserve with which to live and support your daughter. I hope her sins, if they are as you describe them, are visited upon her in this life. Kosher Ham
That's love. You deserve this. Congrats. I was thinking you were going to emulate my story of wearing Gary Clarks SB ring. Your story is ten times better. Must be the pollen. Merry Christmas.
Mr. Sinister
Just saw this! **** yeah, man! My entire childhood waz chock full of bull**** like this. I was manipulated and tugged virtually every direction, resulting in years and years of anger and resentment. Wasnt until I became an adult and came full circle that I finally understood just how ****ed up the courts, and people, can truly be. Congrats, again, man. Not many people have the strength and resolve to fight (and beat) the system the way you did.
Momma There Goes That Man
Congrats, it's great to see a child have someone that loves them so much.
Mr. S
Congrats; always good to hear when the male parent ends up getting more time with their children. As a family law attorney I do hate when other family law attorneys are not effective enough or do not give realistic expectations up front only to take your money. Hope you enjoy the holidays with your daughter!
skinsmarydu
Congratulations!Like Mr. Sinister, I had been fought over. One time at my grandmother's in NC, they were physically pulling on me in two different directions, and I'm no Stretch Armstrong. It eventually took a "kidnapping" of sorts, but the nastiness was unbelievable.Sorry to hear it took literally everything you had, but like me, she's one blessed little girl to have a Dad who loves her more than anything else in the world...and for better or worse, raised her to be a Redskins fan Hail! codeorama
Congrats! I'm really happy for you. From a guy who has custody of his son, I completely understand.
DallasBlowsBig
congrats Gary Clark Fan. I have been hurt by close people before but I can't imagine having to deal with an ex wife like that. I hope you heal from all this and so does your daughter. I have been hurt by people in the past, and while you don't have to take my advice and I understand why you would not, the way I have gotten over past offenses is to forgive the person who treated you so wrongly. If you google searches on "unforgiveness and health" it shows the damage holding grudges can do to yourself. Do this for yourself, not for her. This is how I have overcome my problems with people who have hurt me. No matter what congrats and MErry Christmas.
