8181
He was benched in favor of Geno Smith after starting three games and the front office might use a top-10 draft pick on a quarterback. But Vick, 34, believes he can still be a starter anywhere, with one team in particular occupying a soft spot in his heart: the Washington Redskins. “That’s home,” Vick, who is from the Tidewater area of Virginia, told reporters, with Newsday’s Kimberley A. Martin saying that he was “beaming like a child” as he spoke. “That’s home for me. Don’t get me excited. Don’t get me excited.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2014/12/18/michael-vick-says-playing-for-redskins-would-be-a-dream-come-true/?tid=hpModule_a4df998e-86a7-11e2-9d71-f0feafdd1394

arftech
In America we believe in second chances. Vick has been a model citizen and football player after serving his time in prison. However, this does not mean Vick would be a good fit here. HTTR!
redskins55
Vick would've been a great veteran backup for Griffin instead of Cousins, Grossman or McCoy. He's a similar player, we could run the same offense when Griffin was injured and he could mentor Griffin on the do's and dont's of being an NFL QB. Instead we surrounded Griffin with other young QBs with no experience and when they get into the game the entire offense has to change.
Rodriggo
Vick is ****. He has no heart or integrity. Would rather call up Grossman and I HATE that ************.
Bigmuss1
I guess the only good news from this headline is that at least someone still wants to join this organization!!
Boss_Hogg
Vet min plus incentives? We need players that want to be here. We have a ton of dudes who couldn't care less about the team or the brand. I would give Vick a chance as a backup. I'm an avid dog lover/owner and I'm disgusted with what he did, but he's really turned his life around. He works closely with the Humane Society and engages in frequent speaking engagements with inner city youth about the disgusting nature of dog fighting. Sign him up, bring him in. Nah, we need good players. Danny, signing me a fat paycheck every week would be a dream come true but since I just turned 30 and yet again went undrafted...probably not gonna happen. AM626
Vick and Djax.. we might as well do the namechange then, Washington Eagles, no thanks.. Also Vick would be on IR after his first start, no way he'll last more than a game as a starter and I don't see the point of a backup QB with durability concerns. Oh oh I thought of a better name! Washington Wannabeagles.. smh

I think getting a veteran backup that is already an NFL QB will be paramount to developing Griffin, if we keep him. And this is a guy that has been nothing but a solid leader since he's gotten his second chance in the NFL. He may have never reached his potential, but that wouldn't be what we need him to be. Gizmo 3squire
If we had another coach who ran a scheme that fits Vick....and RG3 then sure. Gruden being here negates all possibility of Vick being here, hell even RG3 at this point. And no to Vick btw. I like the guy, but nah. We already have one injury prone QB, we don't need two. ExoDus84
An old, washed up, injury and turnover prone QB, with no heart. Where do I sign up? I think I'd rather have Matt Schaub than Vick.

pl73
having that piece of **** mother****er on the team would actually be one of the few ways the Redskins could become even more unlikeable, and thus, will probably happen. We should also send our 1st round draft pick to Minnesota for Adrian Peterson while we're at it.
