MustangSteve
— The Washington Redskins finally allowed Robert Griffin III to speak. So he referenced Winston Churchill and played along with the uncertainty whether he might make his return Monday night. http://news.yahoo.com/redskins-rg3-speaks-says-wont-rush-return-180330117--spt.html I didn't know the Redskins put a lock on Griffins lips, but I sure do like and respect that from Gruden. He made sure there was no all in for Prime Time garbage, Way to go coach.
Voice_of_Reason
I've been very happy that we haven't seen a twitter campaign or heard from Griffin. Until he's playing, there's no reason for him To be talking.

MrSilverMaC
I respect Griffin for learning from the previous offseason. I hope and assume this is a sign of his maturation. This is more in line with the humble man I believed we had drafted. If he's getting back the humble guy he was in his first year I gotta think that means he's realized what it's going to take to succeed. As silly as it may seem this small speech has got me excited. Burgold
Griffin would have felt much more "pressure" to come back if the Redskins were playing well or even if they were "getting by." If we were a .500 team then he would feel the need to come back and push us over the edge. Likewise, if we were doing great fear might be pushing him to try to come back early. The level of play means that both coaches and players can allow Griffin to be smarter and not take the risks that go along with an early return. Both Griffin and Gruden seem to be handling this correctly with the big picture in mind. I want RGIII as physically and psychologically whole as possible when he returns. I think last year he might have been physically ready (or as ready as he was going to get), but he was not mentally ready and that sparked a tough year for him and worse... us. Rodriggo
Only fanbase that is affected negatively by commercials that paints their starting QB as a badass. It's a commercial, it means nothing, remember Dan vs. Dan? #allinfortheduration
bowhunter
No football player makes it through the season in "100%" physical and mental condition. His ankle is now fine, play the damn kid. Stop the drama.
#BgMase76#
I'm fine w/ not hearing or seeing him. Maybe the time away and silence reignites that fire in his belly. As well as gives the coaching staff a chance to reevaluate the playcalling and how they use him once he returns
Destino
They sure released his shoes though... Even gave him their new boost super high tech (marketing) foam. John Wall didn't get none of the new springy goodness. Haven't seen anyone buy or wear them though. What about "All In for Week 10!!!" "No pressure, no crushing disappointment"
Cooleyfan1993
Come on, we all know what Griffin is REALLY thinking..."All in for week 9". He'll ball out against the vikings next week

Momma There Goes That Man
The "All In" commercial is probably the most overblown thing I've ever seen on this board, and this board overreacts to everything.
nemocystem
"No pressure, no crushing disappointment" Funny, i see what you did there. Only...this version is simply untrue, see: Kirk Cousins, or better...one Mr. Vick today. If ever a QB had less pressure to perform it was those two.
