Master Blaster
I don't understand this signing over Larry English, but someon needed to fill the spot left by Jenkins. Best of luck, but hopefully we don't need him
MVP
Championship!!!! Seriously though - I don't see how this guy makes the team. If the Cowturds let him go and they have all kinds of issues at linebacker, how is he going to help our team given the plethora of talent at linebacker. Only way I can see him contribute is on special teams.
acuratl1984
Agree with previous posts. I don't even see how this is an upgrade over Brandon Jenkins. Don't care that Jenkins got cut. But signing this bust looks more like throwing away piece of coal and picking up a piece of crap.
RockvilleSkynz
I can't say I remember ever hearing the name before. Normally, a middle 2nd rounder has a good shot at popping onto the radar at least once or twice... but I've never heard of this guy. Who knows though, maybe he'll impress a coach at some point, and catch on special teams.... an injury here and there, and this guy is now rotating in for certain packages. You never know! (I was a HUGE Robert McCune fan... I thought he would be the next LaVar Arrington, but he ended up being more like a Mike Barrow... sigh....) Everett Brown was pretty highly touted coming out of FSU following a 13.5 sack senior season. Most draftniks had him going 1st rd. He fell because of his size and short arms, but many thought he was a steal where Carolina got him in the 2nd. He's bounced around the league since between 3-4 and 4-3 teams and hasn't been able to stick anywhere.

On outside linebacker Everette Brown: “Yes, we signed him. He’s going to be another pass rusher on the edge and play outside backer. He’s played 4-3 defensive end and he’s played a little outside backer so we’re going to give him a look at outside backer and see how he does.” Too early to tell obviously but still hoping for the best! At worst this guy is depth at a thin position on the team.
Paul Cumberland
keim stated he was coached by brian baker while at dallas... so at least there's some familiarity..
paloosa
When you have been in the league since 2009 and been with 5 differnt teams that doesn't sound like a guy that will make a big impact or even make the team.
Drexen Del'Sangre
keim stated he was coached by brian baker while at dallas... so at least there's some familiarity.. Then I believe Keim may be incorrect. I believe he coached him in Carolina, Brown's only season in Dallas was last season, when Baker was in Cleveland. But either way, there is still a level of familiarity, as you stated.
