Canadianfanforlife
"-- The Redskins reportedly have four college offensive tackles scheduled to visit the facility in the coming weeks. Some expect the team to use an early pick to bolster their offensive line." This is what I've been waiting to hear for a long time now. I hope that those "some" are right & we do use a high round pick on one. I know some of us think that Polumbus is decent & will try to produce statistical data to prove their point. Fine by me. All I know is what I saw & what I saw is...not good. I'll take a high round rookie over TP any day of the week & twice on Sunday(s). "-- One blogger wonders if Jim Haslett's "uncuffed" defensive scheme will make the unit much better this coming season." It better. Because if his scheme doesn't make the D much better then he's out of excuses. Shanahan is long gone. HTTR!!!
Johns Bass
Hail CF4L! Agreed. I don't know that Tyler fits the big body lineman that Gruden is building up. Wait for the draft. Wait to see what they may do after June 1. As far as Hasletts D goes, maybe it's just me, but it seemed to me that there wasn't much going on blitzing wise as I would have expected to see last year. I mean, what did they really do? Show 7+ guys in the front with a single Safety, drop back and get torched? BTW, whose ever idea that was about the single safety idea was needs to get torched. Whose ever idea it was to KEEP it in needs to be Rochambeau'd and THEN torched. Over and over. Your right - no excuses.
Canadianfanforlife
HAIL JOHNS BASS! Let's just see what happens now that the meddling Mike Shanahan is out of the way. If the D get's better then it was Shanahan, if not then it's Haslett. If it's Haslett then this better be his LAST year as our DC. HTTR!!!
