Official 2018 Redskins Training Camp/Preseason Thread

I don't remember where I heard/read it, but I think it was reported that McGee MAY miss the BEGINNING of the season, but not the entire season.

Let's All Get Behind Alex Smith!

How do you define accuracy? If we are talking completion percentages, who has the highest of all time? Drew Brees, right? 66.9%. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_cmp_perc_career.htm The last two years, Alex Smith has 67.1% and 67.5%. http://www.nfl.com/player/alexsmith/2506340/careerstats Your links are a few years outdated. You could make the argument that he hasn’t been as accurate in years past, but there hasn’t been many more accurate than him in the last couple of years (only Brees and Keenum - by .01 - last year). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2017/passing.htm He is still the 21st most accurate passer of all time (see first link). And his game is still improving, as he has said himself. I think his best years are ahead of him and I looking forward to the journey. HTTR!

Intriguing stat. I wonder - how many rushing touchdowns did the Chiefs have in the red zone vs. us over that same time frame? I honestly don't know, but I think it may also be a relevant stat.

Daniel Snyder ...Dare We Say Maturing....as a competent owner

My preference is still for him to sell the team.

2018 Redskin's Major Injury Thread (Robert Davis Added)

Does anyone know if we're bringing back the same strength and conditioning cast as last year? Do you think that impacted all of the injuries that we had last year or was it all just bad luck?

Tell me what you like about Parris. I know nothing of the guy.

    Random "Thot" Thread (Stadium Edition)

With all of the injuries last year, does anyone know if we brought back the same strength and conditioning team or anyone new? It seems that a lot of teams are very much into some of the holistic health approach (yoga, dietitians, etc.) these days. Do the Skins have anything like that on their staff?

Anyone need a +1 for the Seahawks game?

My wife and I are coming down from Bellingham for the game, but no plans pre-game. We'll probably arrive early and have a pint or two before going into the venue. I'm open to potentially meeting up with folks before the Skins victory.

Per Schefter: Su'a Cravens Considering Retirement

We love them then we hate them. Again, I get it. It's part of the passion and the fandom. I'm just surprised and perhaps a bit disappointed in the trashing of the guy for his decision. People are taking it way too personal. Welcome to professional sports. A GAME that evokes love and hatred, family and enemies, strictly for our entertainment (and boatloads of money).

Per Schefter: Su'a Cravens Considering Retirement

Yeah I get that. It's more the trashing him as a person as soft or weak because he wants to possibly retire at a young age. Admittedly, the timing of this is horrible but whatever - we are bigger than just one player. Ward went to the Bucs for $5M.

Per Schefter: Su'a Cravens Considering Retirement

Stunning flip from him but also some of you fans. It's his life - if he wants to walk away from football, either for his health or other reasons, that's 100% his decision to make and we should respect it. Knowing what we do about CTE already, if he is thinking of retiring for his health and future self, I totally respect that and he has my full support. I would never ask someone to sacrifice their cognitive abilities and physical mobility strictly for my entertainment value.
