Yeah, others have hinted at what I was getting at with the taxes and preseason added in. I get it. I enjoyed being a season ticket holder. I liked when the tix would come in the mail, looking at who was on each ticket, the excitement of the upcoming season...all of that. But I just realized that I could sit in a lot of different sections, and get better seats for the same price buying in the aftermarket. I don't begrudge anyone for wanting to be a season ticket holder. It just wasn't enough for me after a while. And for anyone who claims that people are not as diehard for giving up season tickets, I call shenanigans.

I was a season ticket holder, and now I'm an ex season ticket holder. It used to be about 100/ticket to sit upper deck. I can sit lower deck for the same or club for 150 sometimes, and I don't have to pay for preseason. To me, it was a simple decision from a money standpoint. I used to try to convince my self that season tickets were worth it in case the team got better. But truth is, even if the team gets better, there are 91K seats, and I'll always be able to get a seat. Always.

Those certificates are not fake at all. They cost $200 back in 1997, and it entitles you to go to the shareholders meeting in July every year. You get to tour the facility, and you get to vote for the board of directors. And I'm not sure where you got the 70M figure from, because they only raised 24M. (My sister-in-laws brother is a stockholder and goes to the annual meeting) BTW that money went for redeveloping Lambeau Field.
