  1. I love this picture. That press conference was literally the greatest moment for the Redskins over the last 25 years.
  2. Do you ever wake up and wonder if it was all a dream...that the Eagles didn’t win the Superbowl? Me neither.
  3. If you refer to the Eagles, can you please correctly refer to them as the “World Champion Eagles”.....thanks in advance.
  4. This is obviously the start of a dynasty. The backup QB for the Eagles has more playoff wins in the last month than the Redskins franchise has since 1992.
  5. World Champions. World ****ing Champions. Skins were last relevant when HW Bush was president. It’s been a generation and Snyder is still your owner.
  6. I know you guys are super excited for me. My life is complete. I can’t even form the words to talk any friendly smack. I’m drained. That was the greatest Super Bowl of all time. We win. We are champions. No one can ever take this away from the team. No more empty trophy case memes. All the pain is gone. Only happiness. Good night and I love you all.
  7. What does this game mean to me? I’ve been playing this game for over 30 years. I have never seen ultimate winning. 2004 was supposed to be the year. It wasn’t and what seems like yesterday has been close to 15 years. Years have passed, the Eagles had some ok years, one playoff run where they came within a game of the SB (I attended), yet recently went over 8 years without even a playoff victory. Life goes on and while other things have filled the continual pain of never achieving true sports happiness, my desire to witness the Eagles win it all has never waned — if anything, the hunger has increased. In a week I will be on a plane to Phoenix to watch the Superbowl with my best friend who could never bring himself back to the Philly area after the 2009 NFCCG we went to. I am convinced he is the only person on earth I’d want to share a victory with while also being ok to commiserate with if there is a loss. I don’t care if you think they will lose. There is better than a 50/50 chance they will. However, I currently have the next best thing to a SB win......hope. One win and everything changes. Literally my entire life. Should it be this important? No. Is it? Yes. i don’t know how many more climbs I have left in me. This year has taken its toll. To lose this week will be devastating and I’m unsure if I can get up and do it again next year..... To be continued.
  8. One game. One game to take away a lifetime of pain. Should the Eagles beat New England? No. Can the Eagles beat New England? Yes. I will take it with absolutely no regrets. The Eagles have went from potentially being the greatest team in modern NFL history to potentially being the unquestioned best story in NFL history with the resurgence of Nick “Big Dick” Foles.
  9. This hasn’t aged well for Mr. Lombardi. https://www.google.com/amp/www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/philadelphia-eagles/mike-lombardi-i-think-i-know-what-good-coach-looks%3famp
  10. Without Wentz, Peters, Sproles, Hicks or Westbrook, the Eagles improbably march to a home NFCCG. Honestly, the team is playing with house money the rest of the way. Foles played good enough to win playoff football last night, but not well to carry a team on his back. With the way the defense played, he may not need to. I know now you guys are incredibly happy for me. Thank you. I deserve this.
  11. Boom roasted. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-can-nick-foles-be-the-answer-in-philadelphia
  12. Foles is the same....maybe even an upgrade on Wentz. Guess everyone forgot about 27/2 last time he was slinging the ball for the Eagles. Birds need two wins in their last 3 games to clinch the number 1 seed. Nothing has changed.
  13. Gents, we are all friends and I am a reasonable man. Let’s all agree that if the Eagles win out they are in the discussion for most dominant teams of all time; we don’t need to definitely proclaim them as the greatest team of all time right now. Plenty of time for that later for the football historians.
  14. If the Eagles win the rest of their games to go 15-1, and then go on to win the Super Bowl, they have to be in the discussion for the greatest team of all time, right? Right now your your stomach is churning because the thought disgusts you, yet you realize it is correct.
