(CBSDC) — The New York Giants have controlled the ball 11 minutes more than the Washington Redskins, yet enter the locker room with a narrow three-point lead. In his Monday Night Football debut, Griffin is 7-of-12 for 100 passing. He also has a 12-yard rush so far in the game. Griffin’s biggest benefit came from having ailing wide receiver Pierre Garcon on the field. Despite Garcon’s troublesome foot, the pair connected five times for 74 yards in the half. Running back Alfred Morris’ 44 first half rushing yards carried him past the 1,000 yards on the season. The feat marks the first time in NFL history a team has had a rookie quarterback pass for 2,000 yards or more and a rookie running back rush for 1,000 yards or more in a single season. Washington’s crown jewel in the first half came on a Griffin blunder. The moment can only be defined as ‘it’s better to be lucky than to be good.’ click on the link to continue reading
HeluCopter29
The Redskins need to tackle Bradshaw and stop letting him gain extra yardage.
the burgundy and gold
Defense looked pitiful in the first half. But I mean what did we expect? The time of possession has hurt us so far, I want to see more of our offense.
