This is like choosing between my children........

I love Taxi Driver, but it's not the kind of movie you watch over and over again. Neither is Raging Bull. Goodfellas is, but I'm not sure it's "better." Casino has massive problems, but it's endlessly rewatchable. Same with The Departed.

Mean Streets is awesome for what it is.

I also rather like The Aviator quite a bit.

Any answer but Taxi Driver is the wrong answer.

The flaw in that movie is that it requires Cybill Shepherd to act a little bit. That's not really her thing. Cathy Moriarty, on the other hand, is incredible in Raging Bull.

I think Raging Bull is flawless as a movie.

Raging Bull is fantastic. No doubt.

Taxi Driver is more iconic. And to me, Cybill Shepherd's awkwardness as an actress actually fits the claustrophobia and paranoia of that movie pretty well.

King of Comedy needs some love too, as does Hugo (if just for the visuals).

It's so hard to vote against it but Raging Bull and GoodFellas are right up there.

I will say it's a f-ing injustice that Scorses got Best Picture for his like 4th or 5th best motion picture (The Departed). And it's a great movie. How he lost Best Director to Kevin Costner I wish I was old enough to watch that decision live at the Oscars.

Christ, I forgot about King of Comedy.

That may actually be the winner for me.

That's the kind of movie that you either love or absolutely despise.

The Departed by a hair over Goodfellas

That's a really strange vote. Explain please.

I agree, I feel like the Departed is an inferior version of GoodFellas that in 20 years will have zero effect on pop culture while GoodFellas will still be quoted, well Pesci mainly.
