The Tailgate 600 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die List--**READ RULES IN OP**

With the extraordinary success of the Tailgate 500 albums list, I thought we could do this as well.

Rules are you can only submit ONE SONG PER POST and please wait five posts until submitting another.

This should be another very fun thread.

Also, no offense to the hipsters but please, let's keep this to songs that you don't have to access by going to some random website and using a secret password.

Every once in a while can volunteers keep the list organized like in the albums thread? Thanks in advance.

As always, explanations and discussion make the thread more fun!

I'll start the list off.

1. Derek and the Dominos - Layla (1970)

Need I say more? Clapton and Allman together. The slide, the legendary riff and the beautiful piano coda. This song is a masterpiece.

Please, number your entries. It will make things 100% easier. And for informational purposes, if you have the year, add that.

13. Sia - Breathe Me

I don't know why but I absolutely love this song. It's not even the type of music I usually listen to but it's one of those that after I heard it I had to listen again, and then again. If anyone hears it and finds it familiar, I know it was used at the end of the series finale of Six Feet Under and was a perfect compliment to it's ending.
